how to add custom css and javascript to,your shopify store,in this example we are going to add a,text shadow to the hero text,on the shopify dashboard go to themes,click on actions then edit code,we are going to add two files our css,and javascript file inside the assets,folder,you can also upload the file using the,uploader file option,for this example we are going to create,a blank file,open our newly created css file,using chrome developer tools i'm testing,the css style text shadow to the hero,banner,copy the css and paste it inside the css,file,let's check the site reload the page,it looks like it's not working yet now,let's link the css file to make it work,the same applies to the javascript file,under the layout folder open the,theme.liquid file,to make it quicker let's copy the,existing css declaration line,and modify it,change the name to the new css file,for the javascript file let's add it to,the bottom part of the document,just before the closing body tag,replace the starsheet tag with the,script tag,finally let's check the site,thanks for watching if you like this,video,make sure to subscribe for more,you
