people are seeing with tick tock ads,you know two three years ago on youtube,a lot of the other content creators in,the ecommerce space were heavily pushing,facebook ads because that was the main,platform everyone was advertising their,dropshipping stores on but now,especially in 2022 it does appear to be,tick-tock now i've tried tik-tok this,year i think i said in my last video i,have only spent about two to three,thousand pounds which is about three and,a half four thousand dollars on that,platform but i've got a good idea of how,it works i've also watched a lot of,content tick-tock related and i've,picked up a lot of negative things that,even those people are saying that are,linked with that platform as well so,whether you're starting your ecom drop,shipping journey or if you've already,got a store making some sales this is a,good video to watch because as in all my,other videos i always recommend google,ads now the first pointer here guys is,consistency if you've watched any other,google ads before you'll know this is,something that all the other people are,saying as well and with me it's no,different you can see the first point,here i've had some products from the,very beginning especially on my uk site,that have been consistent for two to,three years now we just hop over to this,report here quickly on uh shopify this,is my uk website uh this is my best,selling product i'm obviously gonna blow,out the name and stuff because it's my,best seller and i started this store in,uh july 2020 which is why the report is,july 2020 obviously to present day i'm,making this video on august 7th and you,can see i have sold just under 12 000,units of this product with a total sales,volume of 343,000 pounds which i think is about 450,000 and this isn't something that peaks,for one month a year or only did well,for one month just randomly because of a,trend this is a consistent product that,has been selling for me from the get-go,on this website and it still continues,to be my best seller every single day i,only launched my us site at the start of,last year and this product in the us on,that site is also my best seller on that,website so it's a global product there's,global demand and it's consistent all,year round now products i've tested on,tick tock have done well for a few days,sometimes up to a couple of weeks and,then i see major ad fatigue very quickly,this is where your ad ends up showing to,the same people over and over again no,new faces are seeing it and eventually,that audience just loses interest and,that product stops converting this can,be quite common with facebook as well,but i do often see facebook ads last a,little longer than two weeks sometimes,four to six weeks is the time frame,before you have to start pumping out new,content and testing new ad creatives but,with google being a search based,platform with shopping ads and search,ads as well you're not having to show,people you know a wide variety of videos,you're not having to pump out all this,content on a weekly sometimes even daily,basis just to keep your sales ticking,over now number two guys here we've got,evergreen,boring products some of the best,products that do well on google are,boring products it doesn't sound fancy,that is just how it is some some of my,best sellers are very boring but,obviously with tick tock products they,are very impulsive purchases they grab,your attention whilst on tick tiktok and,they're often silly products that don't,always solve a problem but people like,the look of them and they want that,quick satisfaction they want to purchase,it because it looks cool i mean let's,take this product here we've all seen a,tick stock ad for this fire diffuser,product it doesn't really solve a,problem it's gotten very popular because,it's just a cool looking product and,even on google there are clearly so many,drop shippers selling this particular,product here and because tick tock is,very impulsive when it comes to people,buying from ads this results in lower,ticket items that you can sell on tick,tock because the higher the price of a,product the more thought there is behind,that purchase for a customer if,something's a hundred pounds or a,hundred dollars

some,of the most important ad platforms in the market today.,Not only because they have a huge number,of people that you can reach, but it also drives results.,I wouldn't be in business or a digital marketer,if I was spending a dollar to lose a dollar.,I'm in digital marketing, because when I spend a dollar,,I make more than a dollar.,And there's a couple of reasons,on why digital marketing is so amazing.,It's because your ability to segment your audiences,and reach very specific groups,of people in almost instant timeframe.,You also have a lot of data to understand,what's going on, what's not you're going to have to pay more for each click,,because it's costing these networks money,to show up your ads.,Now, whether or not you're doing remarketing or retargeting,,that's another question, California,,Burbank apartments for rent, and Burbank apartment rentals.,When you check these keywords on Ubersuggest,,they have a combined search volume,of 5,100 searches a month.,Now, according to WordStream, in the real estate industry,the average click-through rate is 3.71%.,That means you get on average 189 visitors a month,with an average cost per click of $2 and 25 cents,,and this would cost you an average of $427.,And it would take you roughly three months,to spend all your budget.,By the end, you have roughly 667 visitors.,Now, with Facebook Ads,,it's hard to predict how many clicks you would get,and in how much time.,But based on the estimation costs,from WordStream for real straight industry,,we can, at least, get a sense,of how many visitors you would get,and roughly at what cost per click.,According to WordStream,,per click on Facebook Ads targeting real estate,it would be around a dollar and 81 cents.,If you take a budget of $1,005 and divide it by a dollar,and 81 what's up marketers today i'm going to,be tackling facebook ads versus google,ads,versus snapchat tick tock pinterest and,the age-old question,which ad platform should you use for,your business,so this is going to be a high level,conversation about what kind of ad,platform you should be running for your,business,which platforms are best at what which,to avoid,and how to start off a quick test with,each platform,again the ad platforms that we're going,to be talking about today include,facebook ads this is going to also,include instagram ads,google ads which will include branded,versus non-branded sem,shopping in youtube then we have,snapchat ads tick tock ads and,pinterest ads now i'm going to start off,first with,facebook ads and then google ads and the,reason why,is because if it's your first time,advertising you're likely going to be,starting off with one or both of these,advertising platforms,so for facebook ads facebook and,instagram is still where i would,recommend almost every single business,start,off when they want to explore paid,advertising,with one big exception which i'll,mention,in a minute now the reason why is,because your audience is,on facebook in fact there are 2.7,billion people on facebook so if you are,selling to people,those people are definitely going to be,on facebook additionally,facebook's machine learning targeting,capabilities,and ability to guide the user through,the journey make it one of the best,advertising platforms in the world sure,it has,a lot to improve in yes facebook,can be expensive for some industries,and there are constant updates to ad,manager that make the platform,less than user friendly but i still,recommend almost every business to,start off with facebook because of its,abilities to convert,users for new and seasoned businesses,alike,and compared to other advertising,platforms facebook is the best in terms,of customer acquisition,which is prospecting and to me even,retargeting in some aspects,so if you want to try out facebook ads,for the first time the easiest way to do,this is probably just to start off with,a retargeting campaign and measure how,that impacts your conversion rates,and next i would test a prospecting,campaign to measure,how many of those users end up becoming,your customers,now the next app performance i want to,talk about is google so whenever i'm,introduced to a new business or doing an,audit on their facebook ads account i,always ask to also,take a peek at their google ads now a,majority of the brands that i work with,in the e-comm and d2c space generally,start off with both facebook,and google and that's for good reason,just like facebook for social media,google dominates the search engine,market so there are almost 4.4 billion,internet users and the number of google,users worldwide,is nearly 4 billion so google's search,engine market share is more than 90,which is massive so again if your users,are on the internet,they're likely on google so remember,that exception i said i had for using,facebook ads as your first advertising,platform,in the way that facebook targets people,based on interest and the actions that,they take on their website network,google's targeting is based on when,someone actively types in a keyword,that is related to your business which,means that the intent on google,is way higher on facebook where your,customers are actually just trying to,check out what their friends are up to,not actively looking for a solution now,there are many different types of ads,that you can run,on google number one probably the most,common is,search ads so these are the ads that pop,up after you search for something,on google and there are two main types,of search ads,one is going to be branded and this is,going to contain the name of your,business so,if you are typing for a specific brand,name,and you put it on google that is called,a branded search and,to me this is a form of retargeting,because they have had to have heard of,your business before,typing in your name to google right so,be careful here because actually many,agencies will say,they are giving you great results on,google when really it's just,branded search so always ask your agency,if it's branded or non-branded when they,talk about their search results,which leads me to the second type of,search that you can do on google which,is non-branded and these are keywords,that are related to your product or,business but don't actually have your,business name,the other three types of ads that you,can run on google are display ads,shopping ads and youtube ads so the ones,that are going to get you the quickest,and most reliable,roi are search ads because again that is,where the intention,is you have to just be sure to do your,keyword research find out,so a couple of weeks ago i shot a video,together with you guys,showing you exactly how i was setting up,our first ever tick-tock,ad campaign together remember that so,once we created that ad as well as the,creatives,when we ran the ad some of you asked so,what happened so this,is what happened okay today in this,video i'm going to walk you through an,exact apple to apple comparison meaning,we literally took the same ad put it on,tick tock and we took the same ad,and we put it on facebook by the end of,this video you will know,exactly what it is that you should be,doing and exactly what you should not be,doing,when it comes to tick-tock ads so let's,talk about,what happened the numbers which is the,winner,and you're gonna be able to see exactly,what it is that you need okay so real quick,what were the traffic and the audiences,where were they headed the example,that's gonna be utilized over here,is a webinar funnel so a webinar funnel,that,we sent people to this the first step of,the funnel was,registering for the webinar,and then after they registered for the,webinar this would be the webinar,confirmation page,and after they register for,it that is when they would,attend this live webinar,and after it's live this was an,automated webinar,um and after they attended that is when,they would head over to the checkout,page right so a simple,four-step typical webinar or,presentation funnel,so what we did was we created,an exact ad campaign with the same ad,creatives same video one on facebook,okay and then the next thing that we did,was we ran the same thing with the same,video same write-up same,ad creative on tick-tock okay which is,basically,the thing that we did together if you've,watched that video where we were,creating that tick-tock,video together and this ad over here,sent people to this,funnel okay so let's take a look at some,numbers,now that we understand the big picture,of the sales process,so on the screen you will see that this,ad campaign this is literally a new ad,account right so i'm literally,discovering this together with you guys,so that you can learn through,my mistakes and you don't have to go,through the usual trial and error,and you can see that on this,five day window we have spent about 2,600 now this is in ringgit malaysia is,the ad account where we created so for,those of you outside of malaysia that's,about 800 us dollars converted no wait,that's about 650 700 right,so in this five day window i'm gonna,walk you through the pros and cons and,some of the things that i discovered,i'm doing this now this action could be,a sale it could be a lead it and in this,case here because of the,the funnel that i showed you this the,action was basically registering,for a a webinar okay so this on my agency we've managed over two and,a half million dollars on Facebook we've,spent a little over half a million,dollars on YouTube and we've even,started playing around with Tick Tock,ads and through all of that we've,generated over seven million dollars in,sales for our clients which is pretty,awesome but when I got started doing all,of this I couldn't find a lot of really,great content online to get started and,so I had to just learn a lot of stuff,through trial and error through jumping,into different courses and programs and,spending a ton of money trying to learn,all of this stuff and so what I want to,give you in this video is breaking down,each one of these three big platforms,that are out there and help you decide,which platform you should be going after,for your business whether that is,Facebook or YouTube or Tick Tock and,actually we did the same evaluation at,my agency not that long ago and we,actually decided to cut one platform,completely so between Facebook YouTube,and Tick Tock we are only going to be,running two of these platforms going,forward so there are actually hundreds,of AD platforms out there I don't think,most people realize how many different,places there are to go out and buy ads I,mean between like mobile ads display ads,social ads video ads native ads all of,these different types of advertising out,there now the three big ones would be,Facebook Google and Tick Tock when we're,talking about Facebook Facebook includes,Instagram they also own Facebook,Messenger you can run ads in messenger,they also own WhatsApp and they're,starting to roll out little tests for,running ads and WhatsApp depending on,where you're at so Facebook is a bigger,network of advertising placements Google,the same thing right so Google owns,Google search ads the ads you see when,you are actually searching in Google and,the ads that pop up at the top of the,search page they also own YouTube so the,second largest search engine in the,world YouTube is owned by Google so if,you're running Google ads that takes,place in the YouTube ads platform the,big question is out of all of these how,do you decide which one is best for you,and so we actually did this same,evaluation with our clients now at my,agency we work with people who are,selling information products educational,programs High ticket programs stuff like,that and so we wanted to sit down and,figure out how do we decide what is the,best platform you're running ads for,them and so I want to give you that same,framework we used and what we looked at,so that you can decide which platform is,best for you so the things that we need,to take into consideration while we're,going through this whole decision making,process is what is your business model,like what is your offer what are you,selling what is your whole business,model that you have what are the,resources that you have available to you,so what does your team look like what is,your ability to create video and content,and all of that stuff what are your,competitors doing in your space actually,doing competitor research is an insanely,valuable way to see what's working in,your space because something that you,should know is like people don't spend,money for a long time on ads that aren't,working so if you see a competitor on a,platform that is spending a ton of money,on ads then you can be pretty sure that,that's probably working and that,probably means that there's an,opportunity for you to go do something,similar on that Network and then the,other huge one is what is your target,audience like who are you going after,you're going to make very different,decisions if you're trying to go after,people who are between the ages of 18 to,25 then if you're trying to go after,people who are between the ages of 60,and 70. so who your actual target,audience is also going to play a big,factor into what platforms you decide,you might want to go into so let's get,started with like the three big ones,that we evaluated and these are the,three big ones that you will probably be,evaluating depending on what type of,business you have but the first big one,we looked at was YouTube so remember,this is on this is basically you're,running ads on YouTube through the,Google ads Network so the pros of,running YouTube ads the intent of,someone on YouTube is amazing so someone,is on YouTube Just consume a ton of,content and they are probably there,either trying to learn something right,doing educational searches how to do,this how can I learn this what's the,best way to do this or they're trying to,look for something that's really,entertaining and so that being their,intent and the mindset that they are in,as they're sitting at their computer,searching through stuff if you can,create ads that are either educational,or entertaining then what you can do is,just step right into what someone is,already doing and quickly get their,attention which is a really
