tick tock for business this is where you  ,need a new tick tock account already have a tick  tock business account you can just click connect  ,but today we're gonna have to create a brand new  one so i'm just gonna click create new at the top  ,enter my email address get the verification code  sent into the verification code here agree to  ,terms and conditions and just click sign up you  can click connect down the bottom right and that's  ,now created an ads manager business manager under  that email we can click create new ad account and  ,we can select the country and the currency that we  want to be built in this is generally the region  ,that you want to be targeting change the business  name to something a little bit simpler click sign  ,up and connect you'll come to this data sharing  section which we've touched on a few times in my  ,previous episodes just click enhanced or maximum  providing you've got the terms and conditions set  ,up for something and then click consumer spend  ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this  is probably the uh the biggest stat on this  ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in  consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the facebook  ,ad manager now a ad campaign is the foundation  of your ad so we're setting up our advertising  ,objectives and formats we then have ad group which  is target audiences ad placements budget the drop shipping space about how,these platforms actually perform a lot,of people say that tick tock is the new,facebook a lot of people say that,facebook is saturated and basically a,lot of people actually don't even talk,about google so we're going to clear up,everything about those three platforms,and let's start with the first one so,the first platform i want to talk about,is google and there you have three,things which are actually very important,which are completely different than on,any other platform number one is it's,people who actively search for your,product all right so it's not like,facebook where you just throw a product,in their face and they like you you want,them to buy it it's very very different,for example a person google is just,something like,white table,they're gonna find a bunch of white,tables okay and that's a product which,you could actually sell if you're,basically on the very top and on the,first ranked products you're gonna be,able to generate just sales from active,people who want exactly your product so,it's actually pretty simple to get,people to buy because it's literally,them searching for it okay so they,actively search for your thing and then,we need to consider two things number,one,high ticket stuff works better on google,okay i wouldn't recommend going for,super low tickets obviously it works but,i wouldn't recommend going super low,ticket on google ads because anyways you,just pay for the click so basically the,person coming to your website,and there it's just way more sustainable,to actually make everything more high,ticket okay so the example of like like,literally a table which is huge and way,more expensive is actually a pretty good,one and i would never recommend selling,something like that on facebook however,on on google it actually makes sense and,those people who wear on your website,then you can retarget them on facebook,and start showing them the white table,on facebook then it makes sense but only,as a retargeting okay because it's again,people who search for a white table so,they want one and the last thing which,is very different from google to all the,other platforms is it's all about the,pictures okay the pictures here are so,much more important than on facebook or,on tiktok because you're not going to,have a video which explains everything,you're just going to have the person,searching for it seeing the product,clicking on it and then buying,immediately okay so there's no video ad,or no explanation and there it's also,very important to understand that you,don't have to re-explain the product,itself if it's a general one if it's,just if it's a logical product which it,does need like a lot of explanation,that's the product you want to sell,because if a person searching for a,white table and then they see some crazy,thing which is like added on like onto,the table and it has like those 25 extra,features they're not going to understand,what this table all can do because you,don't have the video yet and it's not,shown primarily you just see that it's,for whatever reason more expensive and,most people do then just click away and,don't understand that this table,actually has something more to offer so,that's google and now let's talk about,tiktok so the first very big positive,about tiktok is you're gonna get a lot,of cheap traffic okay so to get a person,from tick tock to face to to your store,is so much cheaper than actually getting,a person from facebook to your store,however and this is a big issue,traffic is not equal to sales 100 people,on your store doesn't mean that you're,going to make x amount of money it's not,that the conversion rate from tick tock,leads are is the same as the conversion,rate of facebook leads and that's the,issue here you need to understand that,the soft metrics don't really count if,you don't make money so you have cheaper,traffic but it's also shittier traffic,okay so it's lower quality traffic which,doesn't really work which you just need,to keep in mind okay so there is a,trade-off you're gonna have way lower,cpms and way lower conversion rates okay,those two things will happen for sure,now am i saying that tick tock is bad no,tick tock works for sure now i'm going,to give you a couple of niches which you,actually should use and which ones you,should avoid so really good one is,jewelry beauty fitness and some like,satisfying product so like those four,types of products are good all the other,things i would probably not start out,with i've just seen that the success,ratio is so much higher with jewelry,beauty,fitness and satisfying products okay,those four niches are the way to go,that's just what you start out with with,for whatever reason you don't have to,question it it just is proven to work,better for for whatever reason

out below,so why should we use tik tok ads i mean,there are so many other ad platforms out,there right now,but because tick tock is so new there's,definitely pros and cons but let's go,over why you the moves,you know this is a great way to promote,a brand or product but creating a,dance that goes with it but i know this,isn't for everyone,personally not my cup of tea so let's,move on to the next example,so the next example with this one it's,also straight,pretty straightforward they have,literally just,shown their apparel products overlaid,with a popular song and they've added a,direct,call to action button as part of the ad,which i'll show you how to do,later in this tutorial they have a,buttload of likes,at 200k plus for this specific ad alone,which means they most likely,ran an engagement campaign on tick-tock,but the point here is you don't always,need to have a really fancy you know,dancing tick-tock video to succeed so,this is an example of an ad that works,and it's just a very,simple uh you know apparel video the,next one is,from nike this one's pretty interesting,have you watched this,you know ad loan by itself you're,probably going to wonder,how the heck is this working how does it,drive customers to,buy anything or do anything wouldn't,blame you but,what's going on here is also genius and,can drive virality the goal here is to,get,as many users to repost this as a duet,as you can see here they've reposted it,you know they've got some,engaging dancing going on more people,that repost this as a duet the more,eyeballs,that see this ad and the more on my agency we've managed over two and,a half million dollars on Facebook we've,spent a little over half a million,dollars on YouTube and we've even,started playing around with Tick Tock,ads and through all of that we've,generated over seven million dollars in,sales for our clients which is pretty,awesome but when I got started doing all,of this I couldn't find a lot of really,great content online to get started and,so I had to just learn a lot of stuff,through trial and error through jumping,into different courses and programs and,spending a ton of money trying to learn,all of this stuff and so what I want to,give you in this video is breaking down,each one of these three big platforms,that are out there and help you decide,which platform you should be going after,for your business whether that is,Facebook or YouTube or Tick Tock and,actually we did the same evaluation at,my agency not that long ago and we,actually decided to cut one platform,completely so between Facebook YouTube,and Tick Tock we are only going to be,running two of these platforms going,forward so there are actually hundreds,of AD platforms out there I don't think,most people realize how many different,places there are to go out and buy ads I,mean between like mobile ads display ads,social ads video ads native ads all of,these different types of advertising out,there now the three big ones would be,Facebook Google and Tick Tock when we're,talking about Facebook Facebook includes,Instagram they also own Facebook,Messenger you can run ads in messenger,they also own WhatsApp and they're,starting to roll out little tests for,running ads and WhatsApp depending on,where you're at so Facebook is a bigger,network of advertising placements Google,the same thing right so Google owns,Google search ads the ads you see when,you are actually searching in Google and,the ads that pop up at the top of the,search page they also own YouTube so the,second largest search engine in the,world YouTube is owned by Google so if,you're running Google ads that takes,place in the YouTube ads platform the,big question is out of all of these how,do you decide which one is best for you,and so we actually did this same,evaluation with our clients now at my,agency we work with people who are,selling information products educational,programs High ticket programs stuff like,that and so we wanted to sit down and,figure out how do we decide what is the,best platform you're running ads for,them and so I want to give you that same,framework we used and what we looked at,so that you can decide which platform is,best for you so the things that we need,to take into consideration while we're,going through this whole decision making,process is what is your business model,like what is your offer what are you,selling what is your whole business,model that you have what are the,resources that you have available to you,so what does your team look like what is,your ability to create video and content,and all of that stuff what are your,competitors doing in your space actually,doing competitor research is an insanely,valuable way to see what's working in,your space because something that you,should know is like people don't spend,money for a long time on ads that aren't,working so if you see a competitor on a,platform that is spending a ton of money,on ads then you can be pretty sure that,that's probably working and that,probably means that there's an,opportunity for you to go do something,similar on that Network and then the,other huge one is what is your target,audience like who are you going after,you're going to make very different,decisions if you're trying to go after,people who are between the ages of 18 to,25 then if you're trying to go after,people who are between the ages of 60,and 70. so who your actual target,audience is also going to play a big,factor into what platforms you decide,you might want to go into so let's get,started with like the three big ones,that we evaluated and these are the,three big ones that you will probably be,evaluating depending on what type of,business you have but the first big one,we looked at was YouTube so remember,this is on this is basically you're,running ads on YouTube through the,Google ads Network so the pros of,running YouTube ads the intent of,someone on YouTube is amazing so someone,is on YouTube Just consume a ton of,content and they are probably there,either trying to learn something right,doing educational searches how to do,this how can I learn this what's the,best way to do this or they're trying to,look for something that's really,entertaining and so that being their,intent and the mindset that they are in,as they're sitting at their computer,searching through stuff if you can,create ads that are either educational,or entertaining then what you can do is,just step right into what someone is,already doing and quickly get their,attention which is a really awesome,thing for us to be able to do as,advertisers right it's very different,

in this video i'm going to be covering,the a to z of tick-tock ads and,affiliate marketing so buckle up because,if you follow everything that i'm going,to share in this video you could be,taking home some really big affiliate,checks what's up for those of you that,don't know me my name is neil and i run,links digital agency and i help hundreds,of people make money through ads and i'm,about to help you next so let's jump,into this video so affiliate marketing,at its simplest it's basically you,getting paid to promote other people's,products and with tic tac ads some of,the most common products that we see,people promoting are things like digital,products and this could be stuff like,courses ebooks physical products this,could be things like e-commerce products,or little trinkets or subscriptions,supplements things like that or software,sas,this could be things like honey slack,you know your run-of-the-mill software,companies and the reason i'm making this,video specifically for tick-tock ads is,because i'm super excited about the,opportunity available the reason for,that is because tick tock ads are brand,new that means the ad costs are,relatively low compared to some of the,other ad platforms and there's very,little competition but with any ad,platform and affiliate marketing,regardless of whether it's tick tock ads,or youtube ads there is one crucial,equation that determines your success,with affiliate marketing you see,affiliate marketing is just a numbers,game and it all just boils down to how,much you can get a sale for versus how,much your payout is in other words how,much is your cost of customer,acquisition versus how much is the,company that you're promoting a periodic,for willing to pay you for that customer,so let's say a company is willing to pay,you a hundred dollars for every new,customer that you bring in,and your cost to bring in a new customer,through ads is let's say 50,well then at the end you would be left,with fifty dollars in profit which,sounds like a great time however in,certain cases if your numbers don't line,up and let's say the company is only,paying you sixty dollars per customer uh,that you bring in and you can't bring in,a customer for,let's say 80 well then you will be,losing 20 so at its most basic level,affiliate marketing is just this simple,equation and in order for you to make a,lot of money with affiliate marketing,you are going to have to manipulate,those two variables you want your payout,to be as high as possible and you want,your costs to be as low as possible so,let's get into it let's talk about how,you can actually manipulate these two,variables and we will first start off,with maximizing your payout in the,beginning you do have to be a little bit,careful when selecting your product that,you're willing to promote and this is,because it becomes a little bit,difficult to actually change the first,variable,your payout after the fact that you've,actually selected your product most,products have a set payout amount and,it's something that you can't really,change so this is why i always recommend,that people when first starting out,always go for a high ticket item and,this is even true with tick tock ads so,even with tech talk ads where ad costs,are low i recommend having at least a 50,payout for e-commerce products and at,minimum a hundred dollar payout with,digital products now that we have our,payout numbers let's actually talk about,how you can go out there and actually,find products to promote well one of the,easiest ways to go about this is to join,an affiliate network so this would be,things like clickbank max bounty verve,now this is the easiest option by far,you can just log on to these platforms,they already have products for you to,pick and promote and you can see what,other people are also promoting so you,have a better idea of what will actually,work now some of the drawbacks with,these affiliate networks even though,they're very easy to set up and get,going is that the products aren't really,the best quality products out there and,combined with the fact that lots of,other people are also on these affiliate,networks you find that some of these,products get saturated very very quickly,so what i recommend is that you go out,there and find individual products that,are not part of any sort of affiliate,network and preferably products that you,are actually profitable about even in,ecommerce what i would recommend is go,find a single product store or you know,a niche brand that only deals with one,particular thing so for e-commerce an,example of this would be uh gaming,chairs and i'm saying gaming chairs,because we used to promote them back in,the day though they're a little bit,saturated now but at the time of it they,were fantastic products to promote why,because they weren't part of any sort of,affiliate network they were a tangible,product and they were the company that,we went with made really good
