you can use that,actually when implemented in your store,or product page or whatever the case is,to actually generate sales more than,them and I'm not saying that those Spy,shows are bad no actually they are very,good and most important actually what,type of videos they use on check talk,because on Facebook ads there is a lot,of AD types they can use wherever it's,just a picture or just the the link,directly with the picture or whatever,but on check stock ads you need actually,to use the video and the videos if it's,not appealing or if it's not good it,will not perform good so you need,actually to spy on competitors that's a,very very important step so without any,more checking let's just get to it and,just a disclaimer before we start the,platform that I'm going to use or the,two that I'm going to use does not have,all the tech stock ads for example if,the attack stock Advertiser did not,agree to share his ad sets on the,platform it will not show up there but,the good thing is there's a lot of,people don't know this and they do they,don't even care they don't even check if,if that option is available or not,because they don't know this basically,so most of the ads will be available on,this platform but some clever marketers,or tricky people like me will actually,enable the option in their ad set will,not show up on the platform so without,any more checking just speaking,United States for demonstration,so after that the first option you will,see here is for you option make sure to,click on it and click for set a year,which stands for a click through so,obviously the higher click through is,the more successful the ad is there is,no talk about that if the people are,seeing for example if 70 out of 100,people saw the ads click on it that's get more,accurate data or more up-to-date data as,I should say so here you can see the,search bar right here so simply click on,it and it will show up this year so you,can search by brand or product keyword,and you did find out some products or a,keyword or a keyword for a project sorry,and you need to discover competitors if,you go to text organ type in that,keyword you will end up on a lot of,videos and a lot of accounts on these,videos and accounts may not be drop,shippers or e-commerce websites or or,marketers or anything like that that may,just have been people that's using gain,from other people's success they've gone,through the process to learn what works,and what doesn't so why not fast track,things use their learnings and then,innovate from a better starting place,you can analyze advertising data like,views likes duration click-through rates,and learn how they built a successful,strategy not only that but you can get,loads of inspiration from the ad library,like hooks trends different sounds that,are working at the moment whether,they're your competitors or not you can,find loads of hidden gems in there and,you'll never be stuck for ideas again so,let's take a look at a couple of the,different ways where you can spy on your,competitors so the first tool that we're,going to use is the tech talk creative,center if you just google tick tock,creative center then come into,inspiration we're going to click on the,top add section and in here this is kind,of similar to facebook ad library it's,not quite got as much content in there,it's not as vast that you can't see,every single ad that everybody's running,but what it does give you is a lot more,insight into the analytics and how those,ads performed so it's only going to,really show us the best performing ads,so to start off it's just going to show,you a whole selection of different ads,that are running on tick tock at the,moment but the best way to use this is,to come up to the top and use these,search filters to really hone in on the,type of ads you're going for so you can,search by region here so whatever,country you want to search for i'm going,to stay like united states you can also,narrow it down by industry so there's,loads of different sections in here of,what you can search for i'm going to,search on e-commerce non-app and go,small and medium sized the campaign,objective you can select here and filter,by the objective that people are,optimizing for so obviously ideally we,want to be searching for conversions if,you're running this for an ecommerce,brand anyway and then there's a couple,of other filter options in here that you,can search by such as duration of the,video and format and but usually just,leave these as they are so this is going,to give you a chance to really narrow,down on the type of creatives you're,looking for that's hone in on the type,of industry that you're selling in as,well and you can browse through here and,get a feel for what's actually working,on the platform at the moment another,good way to use this tool is if you,scroll back up to the top and you click,this little magnifying glass here just,on the right hand side and then you can,search by add caption keywords so if,somebody's mentioned something the,caption of their video you can type it,in here and really hone in that search,even further so what we can do is we'll,just take some of these filters off for,a second go to the search bar and we'll,type in for example jim so if you're a,fitness brand you come in here and see,what other types of fitness brands are,doing what kind of content they're,posting any styles or format that,they're going for that seems to be,working for them loads of good examples,in here another example you could type,in for example if you're a brand who,is selling sustainable products,something to that's really friendly for,the environment and that's an angle,you'd like to lean into you can come in,here start spending a penny on ads well,in today's video i'll be showing you,exactly how to spy on your competitors,ads on tick tock see what type of ads,they're running see the exact ads that,are currently live on their platform but,also see if they're running ads in the,first place my name is justin and i'm,the founder of woozle media an,e-commerce marketing agency specializing,in elevating driving brands by,simplifying e-commerce growth before we,get started make sure to leave a like,subscribe as well as turn on post,notifications to be one of the first to,know about these cutting edge ecommerce,marketing tips post on the channel every,week,so the first thing i'm going to mention,at the beginning of this video is please,install the tick tock pixel helper if,you're familiar with the world of,advertising you know that google also,has that that facebook also has that,with their platform which allows you to,see if there's a pixel in the first,place on a given website so that way tool that i,recommend for you to spy on competitors,ads is called big spy so bigspy.com is,actually a tool that allows you to spy,on a lot of advertising platforms and,you can go pretty narrow with the,filters that you can add on their,platform so first of all you can choose,the advertising platform that you want,to filter through so in this case i,could pick tick tock,then you can choose what type of website,the platform is sending traffic to so if,you want to check as an example only,shopify websites then you can do that,and then you can also filter by country,or region by format or type of ad you,know there's a video or photo um you can,choose the language the engagement rates,the marketing objectives you know are we,going for conversions or whatnot uh the,type of landing page it's sending ads to,the you know time frame so basically are,we looking back 90 days in the past are,we looking just the past seven days as,an example you know they also have only,new ads here and then at the top you can,also search per keywords advertiser name,developer you know fan page there's so,many filters you can add so you can go,very narrow with the type of ads you're,looking for so honestly i would say this,is one of the best places right now to,look for ads inspirational tick tock or,at least look for what other people are,running out there what's in your,industry um basically they have a free,plan which is honestly that's what i'm,on right now um there's not a lot of,information you can have in the free,plan basically the paid plan is,definitely the best which allows you to,unlock all of these filters if you only,own the free plan you can only choose,from the platform you cannot really have,all these other filters but it is,basically just nine dollars if you want,the regular plan or for three days so,basically if you just want to try out,the software just to see how you like it,it's literally a dollar for three days,so if you are running like a big,campaign right now you want to make sure,that your competition as an example is,not uh you know running similar ads or,you want to make sure that you are,running better ads than they are then,you could just hop on their plan for a,dollar for three days do as many,searches as you would want and then save,all of these ads with a tool like,addison that i shared in one of my,previous videos so it allows you to,create a swipe file from ads you're,seeing on the tick tock or the facebook,ad library and the links on there do not,expire so they are there forever and if,you ever save an ad on that platform you,can even leave some notes so i highly,recommend you check out this tool and,you can use that in conjunction with big,spy so you first find your ad,inspiration through big spy and then you,save those ads to addison then obviously,comes the tick tock creative center,that's like the sort of go-to way for,your finding as within the tick tock,platform a little bit like the facebook,ad library though it's definitely not find,winning products for our agency clients,now this is not something that's new,there's already been videos out there,talking about it and the reason i wanted,to come in and add to the discussion is,because i feel like there's a few things,that i haven't seen covered yet a few,different ways that you can actually,leverage this tool in order to get the,best results and in order to find the,best products that other people just,simply haven't mentioned yet so i'm,going to be going over what this tool is,how to best use it and some tips and,tricks on how you can you know,essentially further use it to find,better products and do better research,because like i said there are videos out,there that cover this tool but in my,opinion they haven't gone in depth,enough and they're not talking about the,specific way that we use it to find,winning products for our clients so,let's get right into it yes for those of,you that guessed it it is the tick tock,creative center which is essentially,tick tock's version of ad spy if you're,familiar with facebook ads and the way,that uh people used to do product,research for the copycat method there,was a tool called ad spy which basically,would allow you to see all of the ads,that are currently being ran on facebook,and you could search by you know the ad,copy different keywords stuff like this,and it was a really really helpful tool,if you were following the copycat method,for facebook now i wasn't really,following the copycat method on facebook,but as you know we are following the,copycat method on tick tock so this,would be something that been,promoting you know this whole like,create tick tocks not ads thing i think,tick tock's goal at the end of the day,is to motivate advertisers to be really,native to the platform and i think,they're just trying to you know give as,many resources as they possibly can to,allow advertisers to know you know,what's right what's wrong which i think,is really really helpful for us,advertisers and it's really really cool,that tick tock is kind of taking the,stance of like okay let's really help,our advertisers instead of treating them,like peasants kind of like facebook does,like facebook treats you like as,opposed to tick tock is out here like,basically giving us ads and showing us,you know the results of things which,i'll actually show you the platform and,i'll walk you through some different,tools that you can look at and things,you can review that will also help you a,lot but i think it's really really cool,that tick tock has been super proactive,in helping out advertisers and trying to,give you know as good professional,advice as they can obviously they're not,talking about specific strategies and,stuff like that but you can pull a lot,away from the resources they put out,there now i think there's two primary,uses for this specific tool you know the,creative center and there's a few other,tools attached to it number one is using,it as it's intended to be used which is,strictly a research tool it's used to,get inspiration it's used to get,educated on the platform of tick tock,ads as a whole so if you're somebody,that's never,been on tick tock like as a user or if,you've never advertised on tick tock at,all this is a really great time for you,to come into this tool and kind of look,at what other people are doing on tick,tock ads that's performing well and,figure out you know that way you don't,try to come on to the tik tok ad,platform treating it like it's a,facebook ad platform because it's,completely different a lot of competitors landing,pages and get inspiration for that as,well and like i said earlier this isn't,just for affiliate marketing you can,also use it for drop shipping and course,creators etc and then shipping come and click,that right there so then we'll go into,the basics uh you can target by country,the action button so if you only want to,see ones that have a shop now or learn,more or order now you can choose that,another pretty cool one is you can,choose the ecom platform so if you're,running a shopify website and you want,to get ideas you can see only ads that,are using shopify as well and then get,inspiration the ad types you can do,brand ads or non-branded ads,landing page you can choose to see ads,that are only using a landing page or,ones that are not using a landing page,and just direct linking to their offer,then you got ad impressions total likes,popularity days and then the like rate,and lastly you can do first scene and,last scene and then you can also exclude,some results so now let's get into a,real life example so i've been dabbling,with auto insurance when i'm running,these tick tock ads and so far i've been,seeing some pretty decent results so,i'll give you an example of how i,actually went and found inspiration for,some of my ads so i just left it at ad,keyword and i typed in auto insurance,and then i added it to the filter and,then you can see right off the bat like,this dmv one that's most likely an,affiliate um a lot of angles use that uh,image of the dmv,so right off the bat it is uh showing us,affiliate ads oops let's go back up and,most of the time i'm going to be using,the united states and then lastly i like,to look at ads that have more than 100,likes that just lets me know that it's,been running for a few days and it's,getting some interaction with the,customers so just like that we added,three filters,and then we can,start looking at some of these ads,so right away you can hover over each of,these and it'll start playing the video,which is cool because once you click and,view the advertiser details and when you,do that you get to see a lot more info,but that'll count as one of your views,so you can click on this right here,and then it'll play with sound there are,a few awesome things that i want to,point out right here when you click on,one of these ads that you like you can,obviously watch the full video you can,see the ad text like their call to,action what are they having at that,bottom of the tick tock ads stop,overpaying for your car insurance it,shows you how many impressions how many,days it's been running and then the,popularity then i'll give you an,estimate on the ad cost and they,calculate this using big data and uh the,common cpm indicators for tar,target regions and the
