and tick tock actually doesn't,want to see you throw away any money,without getting any type of results he's,got to be an idiot to put those on,social media remember tick tock wants to,take your money as much as possible but,why would they take just 100 from you,when they can take 10 million let me,explain so what i'm saying here is they,want you to succeed they want you to go,ahead and spend a ton of money on their,platform and achieve great results and,in doing so you'll keep coming back and,you'll keep spending and if you're not,set up properly you won't get any,results thus they don't want you to keep,spending because then you're just gonna,leave the platform now with agency,accounts or accounts that i've already,spent thousands of dollars on i,typically never have this issue because,tick tock knows that i know what i'm,doing and they give me free rein to go,ahead and spend my money how i want it,we'll touch on agency accounts just a,bit later the issue of your ads not,spending typically happens on a brand,new tick tock account that hasn't,achieved any spend or results yet so yes,you're probably thinking this is all,common sense and you're probably already,wondering what you can do to set,yourself up for success and not have,this problem upon launch and here's how,you do it so much like facebook tick,tock actually has a learning phase as,well and to exit this learning phase on,a conversion campaign you have to show,tick tock that your campaign can,generate at least 50 conversions within,one week or seven days but for tick tock,to even want to spend your budget they,have to first believe that you can,actually achieve those results and hit,those metrics to exit the learning phase,and if they're not spending any of your,budget it's because they don't believe,that you can do so i'm sorry it's not,going to happen so what you need to do,first obviously if you believe that your,campaign's going to be successful is you,need to show them that you can hit those,conversion metrics on a lesser event so,what you need to do to show them that,you can actually exit the learning phase,and hit those conversion metrics is you,need to choose an easier objective first,like page views or add to carts now the,proven strategy that has worked for me,about eighty percent of the time has,simply been opening up a brand new,traffic campaign and just spending,twenty dollars on it for the following,day after you've done this the next step,is to simply go to sleep and watch your,ad account burn through twenty dollars,the next day with likely no results but,don't worry your account is still,gathering very much important data that,it can later use and it's also getting,you ready to launch that conversion,campaign the complete payment objective,which is obviously what you're looking,for now like i said this will fix your,account spending issues about eighty,percent of the time if your account,still isn't spending and yes this type of content to do when they,first hop on the platform and they're,pretty confused as to why they're not,seeing the same results that other,competitors would or just other people,were boasting about in the industry,again let me remind you once more tic,toc is 100 content based so chances are,if you're not seeing results it's,because you're not utilizing the right,type of content for the platform so i,want to share in today's video the,differences between tick-tock and the,goal of the platform that you would,usually see on instagram whereas how,does tick-tock play a role within your,e-commerce brand and how can you best,utilize the content type that you would,find on tick tock to get the best,results out of the platform my name is,justin and i'm the founder of wizzle,media to the platform whereas if we,take a look at that ad right here from,ebay that screams ad and that is so off,from what you would usually find on the,platform and that's why you cannot look,at big corporations when wanting to,advertise on tick tock because a lot of,them they're actually getting the game,wrong they're advertising with ads like,that which again they scream corporate,they scream at this is not the type of,content you would usually see on your,feed that is totally out of the usual,scheme of things on tick tock chances,are if you are a tick tock user watching,this video you probably scroll through,these ads so fast you don't even have,the time to see that and you can see it,with the click-through rate graph on,that video it basically stays stable,throughout all of the video meaning,there's no spike there's no real call to,action people are basically clicking,more or less the same way throughout all,of the videos so meaning they could just,be clicking on screen and swiping down,but again it does not look native to the,platform and that is what you want to,stay away from when you advertise on,tick tock so that obviously when you,want to do some organic content on tick,tock chances are you probably won't even,think of doing something like that right,and what you got to think about is that,tick tock organic and adds the the gap,is so thin tick tock made it so that,your ads look so seamless within the,organic experience that they don't look,like ads the way they've again built the,platform whereas it's a little different,on facebook where you have again,it kind of stands out from the feed when,you have an ad because you have carousel,types which you would not really see on,a regular feed on facebook as an example,but again on tick tock there's no real,indicator beside a small sponsored tag,at the bottom that tells you it's an ad,and in a lot of cases again the way you,shoot your video it can just pass for,some organic content and those are algorithm,figure out who who my people are right,okay,um good but even that initially wasn't,spending so you had me staircase some of,the spend which worked um and then i,switched over to a this conversion,campaign,um and,spent you know i spent some money for a,budget for each of those ad groups um,but it worked so,that's awesome and and really cool but,we know what point do i start scaling,down or do i say hey screw let's go the,other direction and scale up,okay got it and what about the audiences,were you always targeting female,yeah i mean so i i've played around with,uh female and male but you know the,brand sku is female that's just the,nature of it which is fine um but i,would be willing to test um,males as well you know i have some,creative that sort of tries to let's get started,for this episode we will talk about the,ad creatives and common reasons why ads,are rejected,now on tick tock we ensure a safe and,authentic user experience by holding,advertisers to a high standard for the,content they promote on our platforms,which is why we review each ad to make,sure it complies with our ad creative,policies,and local regulations now i have,personally come across many ad creatives,that have been,rejected due to various reasons and i'm,here to help you understand some of them,so that when you start your campaign,you're already aware of what not to do,so let's take a look at our first reason,that many ads get rejected,the ads that make exaggerated overstated,or misleading claims about product,performance is clearly,not compliant with our policies like an,ad that says they are going to give,twenty thousand dollars once you sign up,without any proof,or if this particular product says,you're going to lose 15 pounds in one,month,basically any weight loss claims i have,another one too,this product will give you 100,satisfaction in life,these absolute claims are not encouraged,on our platform and our review team,will reject any such ads if you look at,the caption in the first one it says 100,natural herbal cream number one of the,whole world,absolute terms and the second one says,use this service and get married,in three days well that's not okay,now let's talk about the second reason,that ads get rejected,which is if ads show products or,services from a prohibited industry,i have seen a lot of ads get rejected,for this particular reason,it's really important for you to know,the list of prohibited,items from your own market tick tock has,always maintained,very strong policies for an authentic,and safe user experience,which is why we don't allow items like,illegal drugs or,adult content you can have a look at the,whole list,if you visit the help center link in,your ads platform,the first part contains the products or,services which are currently prohibited,in all countries and regions like,cigarettes weapons gambling political,ads and more,and the second part contains the list,from various different markets,now we come to the third reason and this,is important guys,if the products and prices in the ads,are not consistent or relevant to the,products and prices on the promoted,website,the ad will be rejected for example,if the product shown in the ad creative,is different,than from the landing page or the price,shown in the creative is,inconsistent with the price on the,website then our review team,rejects the ad in the first creative the,ad,introduces a facial essence for oily,skin in the video but,shows a car on the website the second ad,states a discount of,up to 30 percent off but on the website,you can see,up to 50 percent off and then in the,third one the website is too vague to,determine,if there is any relevancy at all,moving on to the next one the promoted,website does not function properly or,does not contain information required by,local regulations,this is another common reason for,rejection,for example websites that don't open,properly,websites that are not mobile friendly,websites that don't contain the contact,information of the seller,or websites without a clearly stated,refund or return policy,we at tick tock ensure that it's not,just the ad creative that is important,but also the website that you are,promoting and that should comply with,the local rules so as to safeguard our,users,moving on the next reason has to do with,issues of the ads,texts or captions for example ads with,spelling errors,excessive or distracting capitalization,of certain words,or using symbols in place of letters,there could also be issues like,incomplete texts and videos,grammar mistakes or text logos that have,been covered by stickers,check this out first we have the,incorrect spelling of the word sale,and also notice certain letters are,capitalized and certain letters are not,second we have the use of the at sign in,the question mark,there's also the spelling mistake of,sale not to mention,the capitalization again third,there is a very cute cat opening an ad account so,let's say you just went on tick tock you,open an account uh you register for a,business manager you got an ad account,and now you're setting up your ads,everything looks good your pixel is set,up correctly your store looks good,everything that they need is out there,and now you set up your ads first day,you put in a conversion you set up a,conversion ad it doesn't spend any money,second day doesn't spend any money third,four it goes on does not spend any money,maybe like five cents six cents seven,cents you've been there if you're,watching this video you know that you've,been there right and it's super annoying,and you're like okay what the hell am i,doing wrong,i've had a phone conversation with,someone that knows what they're doing in,one of the reps that actually knows what,they're doing so here's the thing with,one of the things if you're setting,something for conversion first of all,set up your all your ad accounts with,with cbo it tends to not actually spend,if it decides sometimes some ad accounts,are fine you set up your account you set,up your testing account and it starts,spending with conversion when you do,complete purchase conversion it spends,but not all the time that's the case,right so a lot of times they pick some,ad accounts that they don't want you to,basically get to conversion right away,right so you either have to let it just,sit there for seven days before it,starts actually spending and every day,is going to spend a couple cents and,eventually he's gonna spend or there's,faster way to do it so what the rep told,me is that your ad account is not,optimizing they don't know what they're,doing they don't know what to look for,so technically they don't want to spend,your money because they don't really,know uh you know what you're you're,about that's what it is your account is,not warmed up you they don't want you to,spend your money they don't want you to,spend money so basically after talking,back and forth and emailing back and,forth with a bunch of reps and agents,and all that this is what they come up,with and this is kind of like what they,got got back to me right so i was like,hey i want to know why the account is,not spending like that's a brand new,account right so i have multiple,accounts that i work with i have agency,accounts agency accounts usually i don't,have any issues with so that's not ever,a problem but i just kind of wanted to,figure out for my students for my people,to know why this is happening because,all people come in they don't you know,and their accounts are not warmed up so,a lot of accounts that i have that are,already warmed up that i've been,spending thousands of dollars on they,never had this issue but when i open a,new account that's when the issue,happens when i open a new account it,just doesn't spend so this is kind of,what they told me right um it is normal,to see delay and fluctuation activity in,the beginning period of the delivery so,don't worry our taking,there's a lot of you know charlatan,schemes out there and stuff of that,nature,so again this is a protected agents,against that so they're gonna err on the,side of caution when it comes to that,now when you think about the next reason,okay so the next reason,is going to be your text and your,caption right so make sure you're,texting your caption is,done properly there is no kind of,there's no um,like weird instances of you know having,like uh different characters and stuff,of that nature that should not be in,there like false links,or something of that nature that would,give that false indication of that,right so tick tock does give the,variability to have your ad,in an ad quality of a video go directly,to your url if you're going to a landing,page or,something selling something that's not,like a product service,e-commerce or whatever the case may be,right so you don't,have to go ahead and spam the algorithm,of that nature so that's,what this is basically doing is saying,don't falsify stuff don't do,grammar mistakes and stuff like that,don't really indicate,different things so make sure your stuff,is done properly so when you make your,creative make sure that's done,right the next is going to be video,quality there are highly,obviously this is this is a video based,atmosphere right so video quality,and your image quality is going to very,much be,very important right so when it comes,down to it too the audio is something,that is very important when it comes,to that video so if you don't have any,audio,it's going to tell you hey we're not,going to everything what is it that's not,making it actually spin so let's go,ahead and break down those exact things,you need to know that way you can,actually get your Tick Tock ads to spin,and start converting because we all know,Tick Tock has a huge opportunity as a,platform to generate sales and results,for your brand or business alright so if,your Tick Tock ads are not spending,here's what
