that,have generated millions of dollars for,shopify stores and i'm 100 sure that,you're gonna get some value out of it so,let's not waste any time and hop right,into it i'm using a tool called mania,it's right now my favorite spy tool and,by the way i got a free trial in the,description that you can use so make,sure you check it out but yeah basically,what you can do on this tool is you can,spy on different facebook ads pinterest,ads and tick tock ads they also have,some other stuff but that's not what,we're going to focus on in this video,we'll save that for a different one and,what's cool is that you can filter by,shopify stores and then also right here,you can just sort it by the most liked,tick tock ads so as you can see we have,some here that have 125,000 shares this one has literally 13,million likes and 134 million views so,let's check it out quick level three or,level four oh that feels so good level,for max,so this video right here literally has a,hundred and thirty thousand comments 13,million likes this video alone has made,multiple millions i can guarantee you,that and the website is super simple,very simple funnel as you can see wow,we're getting off to a good start so,we'll do this again shopify and then,sort by likes and then we'll take a look,here at some other products so let's,take a look at this one by the way i'm,gonna have to mute some of these because,that they have copyrighted music so i'll,just give you you know some commentary,here,okay so she's putting on some like,darkening sort of,thing on her teeth,not exactly sure why but,i guess this is some sort of product it,looks cool maybe i don't know either way,this ad has 17 000 shares 7 million,likes somehow it's done extremely well,now let's take a look at this one it has,43 million plays 5 million likes and 22,000 comments,okay i've seen that product before,this is a very simple ad,whoa,that's a cool sink,so they're basically showcasing this,awesome sink that's it this store i,guess is the tick tock made me buy it,store so just a general store here that,sells a whole bunch of different stuff,but insane how much traffic they,probably drove through the swan ad alone,what does single women do after work,okay so this is a pretty long ad right,here,oh so like a shoe shiner,just some other,random products this is like a little,vlog i don't know what that does,but it looks interesting,another little trash so it's just,showing a lot of convenient products i,guess,let me see let's just go to the end here,wow,they just showed a bunch of like winning,products and they linked to this store,right here lilkit.com,innovative solutions for smart homes so,they just have all of these like,like,smart home products which is pretty,interesting i mean that's kind of a,smart ad because it showcases so many,different products and it doesn't really,feel like an ad so then people will,probably click on the store and i think,even though it would get a lower,conversion rate since it's not leading,people to a landing page it still would,be pretty effective just because of how,much traffic they would drive now this,one has 4 million likes 50 million views,and 88 000 shares don't let your,boyfriend or kids see this,these are just like it's kind of like a,nerf gun but it looks a little more,realistic,pretty cool i guess you know if you say,safe toy at the top you can promote guns,on here,wait that looks super cool actually damn,that looks fun,and they link to this store,rubbercouch.com and they just have a,bunch of rubber guns,that look pretty interesting,and they're driving so much traffic,right now they're blowing up probably,because of this ad alone so that's the,power of just one viral tick tock ad,this is basically what me what is going on guys my name is gerardo,and if we haven't met let me tell you a,little bit about myself i am a tick,talker that also happens to run a tick,tock marketing agency we focus on,helping brands grow both organically and,through paid ads on tick tock over the,past year i've managed over 2 million in,ad spend exclusively on tick tock so i,wanted to bring all my knowledge over to,youtube that being said let's go ahead,and get right into it,so as you can see here we are at the ad,group level and we've made our way down,to targeting so i'm going to walk you,through all the actual targeting,features what they mean what you can do,with them and how to actually use them,in your actual campaigns,so first things first we have audiences,uh this is comprised off of custom,audiences and look like audiences if,you're not familiar with what a custom,audience is i'll have a separate video,on that as well as lookalikes but just,to give you a quick rundown a custom,audience is essentially compiling a list,of people based off of different,interactions that they've had with,either your website uh it could be a,custom email list could be your actual,tick tock business profile and a couple,others as well,basically the idea before custom,audiences they come in clutch,specifically when you're looking to,retarget users that may have interacted,with your business in the past,if you are actually running campaigns,for the first time don't sweat this at,all i just go ahead and leave this blank,for the time being,you can also exclude specific audiences,so let's say for example you create an,audience of people that have already,purchased from you in the last 30 days,depending on what that actual audience,size is it could be pretty impactful to,make your ads a little bit more,effective as well which you could,actually select here in the excluded,section,demographics so when it comes to,demographics obviously you have location,and one thing i actually highlight you,can get a little bit more detailed with,your location these days uh on tick tock,and break it down not just by country,but also by actual,state as well so if you have something,that's a little bit more local or you,want to target a specific state within a,country i know some countries are,accessible for that specific feature but,in terms of location pretty,straightforward,uh gender not much to explain there age,so funny thing about tick tock age is,not as,uh how would you say it's on facebook,for example you have the option to,select like only 18 year olds only 19,year olds here they're blocked into,different segments but again,depending on who your product is catered,to if you're trying to sell something,that's more of an adult demographic or a,younger demographic just act accordingly,based off of your best instinct or just,leave it completely wide open,languages i tend to just leave this,blank depending on what country you're,running again if you're targeting the us,i think all languages is just fine,yeah i wouldn't really fuss that too,much,now when it comes to interest and,behaviors this is where it actually gets,pretty fun,so as you can see here we have the,option to actually just target whatever,tick tock recommends now the thing here,is,if you don't have like a seasoned pixel,meaning a pixel that's been operating,for a long time or you don't have a lot,of conversion data this might not be the,best option right off the bat typically,what i like to do is when i'm launching,test campaigns i start super super,simple and i'll create one ad group with,a wide open audience so what do i mean,by that i mean say for example i'm,targeting 13 up to 34 i can leave gender,open location open no custom audiences,bam that would be my open audience right,super simple super open,and i have a very very large audience to,actually go after,the reason being here is you can,actually let the,actual algorithm optimize accordingly,and in addition to that over time you,will be able to see,which interests your campaigns are best,converting on so that you can create sub,ad groups based off of that uh actual,data which again i'll make a video on uh,at a further date,now,if we're talking about interest these,are just general interests that you can,search for basically under any category,and they're broken down into different,tiers so,what you see initially are going to be,tier 1 interest right so let's say for,example we click on apps everything,under this,secondary string is going to be tier 2,interest so let's say for example we're,doing business and productivity within,here this would be our t3,or tier 3 and then sometimes you'll have,tier 4 on tech talk as well,you can also search specifically like,beauty and see what comes up,so here you have uh beauty and personal,care that's probably going to be a tier,one interest and it's going to give you,an audience size as well which is very,important it says here you have,basically 53
