see all the,ad set that's currently running for a,particular niche,not the profile or a page and you can,filter out this ad set,by the click through or the view rate,and also filter out the ad set,by the niche for example you will be,able to see all the ad set that's,currently,running for clothing or technology or,markov chain,or whatever your niche is and the next,best option,in this ad library for tech talk is you,will be able to see the ad set that's,currently running for a specific country,yes you will be able to see all the,advertisements that's running,in australia or canada or united states,or wherever your niche is and this is,really cool right and without any more,checking,let's get to it so just scroll down,description box and you will see for the,link for the ad library for it yet just,click on it and you will see,sit there impressions and six seconds,video,view rate so the first one means click,through,so for example if the ad has a click,through of 15,that means that 150 percent out of,1000 viewers they do click it on the ad,set,and that's really cool right if you do,have a click through of 15,that means that people are really,interested in that ad set and they do,click on it,and the option below it is impressions,and this option it basically will filter,out all the ad set,based on the impressions that each ad,set has,and i don't recommend to go for is the new kid on the blog usually we're  heavily reliant on facebook because it's such an  ,incredible marketing tool but lots of people are  getting heaps of success with the new entertaining  ,nature of tick tock ads so it might be perfect  for your brand this video is perfect for beginners  ,we're not going to skip any steps but i'm also  going to go into some advanced things around  ,content because that is so important to make sure  that you make tick tock ads work the first step  ,you're going to want to do is set up your shopify  store if you haven't set up your shopify store  ,just pause the video click the link in my bio and  set it up now we've got one set up through our  ,lemon scrub series so it's got most of the things  ready we're just going to make sure that we set up  ,tiktok properly so the pixel is firing once you're  in shopify the best way to go is go into apps and  ,just write in tiktok simply download the official  tiktok app and click add sales channel this is the  ,exact same as facebook nowadays this will bring  up this little tick tock section down on the left  ,hand store of your shopify store if you don't have  shopify still carry on watching we're going to get  ,into the nitty gritty in a second once this is set  up we can click this section here setting up the  ,pixel the next step you can see that it's saying  connect tick tock for business this is where you  ,need a new tick tock account already have a tick  tock business account you can just click connect  ,but today we're gonna have to create a brand new  one so i'm just gonna click create new at the top  ,enter my email address get the verification code  sent into the verification code here agree to  ,terms and conditions and just click sign up you  can click connect down the bottom right and that's  ,now created an ads manager business manager under  that email we can click create new ad account and  ,we can select the country and the currency that we  want to be built in this is generally the region  ,that you want to be targeting change the business  name to something a little bit simpler click sign  ,up and connect you'll come to this data sharing  section which we've touched on a few times in my  ,previous episodes just click enhanced or maximum  providing you've got the terms and conditions set  ,up for something and then click confirm maximum  is obviously preferred this is how shopify shares  ,data with ticktock this is referred to as capi  which is a partnership between shopify and the  ,advertising platform click set up enter your final  details make sure you connect automatic payment  ,click confirm and you should be ready to go now  to create tick-tock ads we're actually going to  ,have to go back to the tick-tock ads manager so  we can go ads.tichtalk.com you can see that our  ,ad account has already been created to make sure  that we do have the pixel set up properly what i  ,do recommend is going to your website and just  like facebook there's something called tic toc  ,pixel helper and it's a chrome extension that you  can download and check if your pixel is firing  ,on your website if it's not you may need to go  and fix that initially just download the chrome  ,extension and you can see that our tick tock pixel  is set up here shopify set it up for us and it  ,should be firing this is a page view because we're  on a page when you add a product to cart it should  ,fire the add to cart pixel or if someone purchases  you can test a purchase and it will also fire that  ,pixel in the exact right way so now we're in  the tiktok ads account we can go ahead and  ,create our first campaign campaign structures  are really important to talk about it's what  ,separates good advertisers from bad advertisers  that alongside really effective marketing content  ,the basic structure is you have a campaign which  is what objective you are striving for if you've  ,got something like a real often when,you're scrolling you keep going you keep,going and then an ad will pop up for a,random thing it seems to be the most,random things for me sometimes it's,beauty stuff and other stuff is like,cookie dough or a mattress or something,and these are some of the things that I,was genuinely curious in and so I,ordered them I think I've done something,like this before where I bought stuff,that was on Tick Tock lives I can't,remember if I've done an ads one but,here it is today let's just get into it,by the way if you want the details about,if you want the details this makeup it's,on my Instagram I listed all of the,products that I used okay so this first,Tick Tock ad that came up I actually had,a few different brands or accounts,posting the same product and basically,what I have generally found is that a,lot of the products that come up on Tick,Tock ads are sort of like Drop Shipping,type things so the company will purchase,a load of a particular product that's,just like a wholesale type product that,buy loads of them and then like Mark up,the price loads and sell them on their,website and I mean loads of stuff is,done by Drop Shipping anyway but just a,little hack here if you click on a,product on Tick Tock it comes up say,it's like 20 quid look at the sort of,brand name that's actually written on,that product in this example it is a lip,Plumping product and type that in on,Amazon or Ebay and it will probably come,up with loads of Cheaper things because,it's all the same brand and it's just,like bulk bought and then marked up for,higher prices on people's Tick Tock,shops but the brand in particular I,ended up seeing is called at syrup,cosmetics and in this ad it looks very,extreme there is a woman testing this,and this is no more lip fillers watch,till they end she's put this on half her,lips and the side that she's put it on I,mean to be fair it looks like she's had,an allergic reaction it's definitely,very plump on the side that she put it,on but it does look a little bit,dangerous so I clicked through to their,website it was a us-based website I,believe and it said it was the syrup day,and night lip plumper reduced from 50.95,to 28.95 lies it was never 50.95 in the,first place I can guarantee you sorry I,really feel like I'm going in on this,particular company like so many other,companies do this but they'll put like,was 50 now 28 dollars to sort of entice,you and be like oh it's a good deal it's,on sale when in reality I went on Amazon,typed in the roll lip plumper because,that's what's actually written on it and,I got the exact same thing for nine,pounds this one seems to be the daytime,one this one seems to be the nighttime,one but I don't know what the difference,is I think honestly I'm just gonna put,both of them on and hope for the best I,might actually try it on one half of my,lips they're very small teeny tiny,little they look like pills in the,information it just says daytime use,ginger Essence lips what's going on guys in today's video,we're going to be going over some of the,changes that have been made on tick,tock's advertising platform so as you,guys know tik tok is pretty limited when,it comes to interest targeting and,recently they made a couple updates,where there's a lot more interest,actually available on their platform so,we're going to be covering how you can,implement these leave a comment down,below and smash that like button and,let's get into the video,so here we are guys inside of a random,ad account we're just going to go ahead,and create a campaign and start to see,what type of interest they've added to,the platform maybe what type of niches,we can now target as you guys may know,if you've been running tick tock for a,while at least from what i've seen and,from what i've heard it's kind of hard,to target the baby niche on tick tock,and even when i go through you know tick,tocks creative center and try to find,ads that are targeted towards mothers,there's not that many baby slash,maternity products actually selling on,the platform and even at that the ones,that are active are actually probably,not profitable just for the simple fact,that they don't always have that much,engagement so we're gonna go through,here and that's probably the first thing,that we're gonna check out just to see,what type of maternity interests they've,added to the platform,and,we're also going to check out,you know a whole bunch of different,interests yeah so we'll head straight,into the interest and see what type of,interest they've added so right off the,get-go you guys can see that within each,interest that's already listed here it's,of course the same ones and they kind of,have this hidden feature where it's,called an additional interest so if we,search up something like,so as you guys can see we searched on,mothers now we see mothers mothers day,gifts and grandmothers so these are,things that were actually not listed,here on the regular interest and as you,can see it's written right here,additional interest now this is one,thing i really wanted to touch base on,is that when you go through these,interests you guys have to make sure,that the audience size kind of makes,sense because as you guys can see here,uh mother's day gift only has an,audience size of zero to a thousand,people and then mothers only has an,audience size of about 37 000 to 47 000,people which kind of doesn't make sense,so maybe let's search up something like,mother and as you can see even mother,only has an audience size of a thousand,to three thousand people so we'll kind,of just scroll through here and try to,figure out what kind of makes sense so,we can see mother's day here has an,audience size of 1.4 million people to,1.7 million people so this is probably,something worth targeting as you guys,know when the audience size is too small,i would say personally under a million,it gets ran through very easily so,there's probably no point of even,testing something of that nature unless,you guys are gonna start stacking some,of these smaller populated audiences uh,in that case they might be worth testing,however if that's the case something,like mother care with the zero to a,thousand would probably already be,included in something like mother's day,especially moving into this interest,targeting tick tock is gonna have to,step up their game but at least we know,they're trying to put an effort forward,and and they're really trying to,implement as many interests as possible,so we're gonna see in the near future,how strong their algorithm actually is,and if they're actually able to build,audiences that kind of make sense so we,could go here and try to find a few more,audiences so we could search up,something like dogs because as you guys,know there's not that many interests,related to dogs on here so we have dogs,with,460 000 people dogs love so this is,something that actually does make sense,uh with a 3.7 million,user reach,so you guys could go in here and test it,for yourself and see exactly what you,guys want to target and see how,beneficial it could be,for your business personally what i,would do is whenever i find a product i,would go through tick tocks additional,interest and kind of try and see exactly,what interest related to my product that,i can target that are maybe,not included in the base interest now,the reason that you would probably want,to do this as well because most people,that are running tick tock ads don't,even know about this yet which means,it's something that is untapped as much,as tick tock's platform is up on top,this is like a hidden gem this is like,an easter egg most people are not even,playing with it so definitely i do think,it's something worth today's video we're gonna break down all,of the targeting types for tick tock ads,and when is the best time to use them,we're going to dive right into my screen,here okay so as you can see here this is,actually a live account we have uh last,30 days you'll be able to see this is,for a book call funnel for one of our,clients who offers a higher ticket,product and you can already see here,there's 22 990 in Revenue off of five,thousand four hundred dollars in spend,okay so now why am i showing that to you,before getting into the targeting types,because we'd like to share with you,what's been working for this particular,client and it does have to do with the,interest targeting options as well as,the other so we want to break that down,to you here and show you how it's,possible to get these type of results,and even better results understanding,the different targeting types that Tick,Tock has available okay so obviously you,guys are aware of the advertising,objectives we're not going to focus on,that today but you can see there are,different options there that you can,look into okay,so for this particular,um video we're just going to select,conversions just to break it down,and we'll do a campaign budget,optimization okay and now we're in the,ad group okay so in the ad group this is,where all the magic happens in terms of,targeting okay so here uh you want to,definitely look into,the promotion type the website obviously,most people do have a website if you,have an app then you want to do app okay,remember the pixel is important aspect,of it okay and now a lot of people,disregard this before we get into the,targeting options the placements where,your ads being shown so most people go,with the automatic placement now the,issue with that is that your video is,going to be shown across the different,options or the different networks that,are relevant with Tick Tock right so one,of those two of those are angle okay,which is also a publisher Network and,then Buzz uh BuzzFeed okay buzz video,this is another option so we tend to,unselect these all right right so I,don't know I haven't seen any videos out,there on YouTube right now that do,explain this but this will ensure that,your videos are just being served on The,Tick Tock platform okay so very,important here okay now,if you go to advanced settings we don't,really mess with anything here uh you,know you can keep the user comments on,if you feel like hey I don't want to be,monitoring who's commenting what you can,leave that off okay but they obviously,recommend to leave it on so we're going,to leave it on here creative,optimization this is something that we,haven't really explored too much but,again today's video talk about all of,the targeting types so let's let's talk,about the targeting mode okay so,automatic targeting is definitely not,what you want to do okay you can see,that when you select that you're limited,you're just basically selecting your,location and language and then that's it,and you're telling Tick Tock hey do the,targeting for me okay what you want to,do is you want to go to custom targeting,because this way you have more control,see now you have the gender options you,have the age so obviously from a,demographic standpoint definitely look,into ensuring that you're targeting the,right demographics okay now household,income okay this is another option that,you know you can use all if it's a Mass,Appeal product right so this is uh that,totally dependent on who you know you're,trying to reach okay who you're trying,to sell to if it's for high ticket you,know you definitely want to maybe do top,10 percent and so on so these are just,different options uh now audience here,this is where you can create your,look-alike audiences and even custom,audiences right so if you go here that's,that'll take you to your custom audience,option right or it'll take you to a,different page where you can add in a,built-in audience okay if you have an,email list for example,then you can this is where you can,create those uh these audiences right so,for example we have an Engaged audience,people who've clicked the ad in the last,30 days you know people viewed the,content last 30 days this is where you,can do all of these things okay,um but again this is just one of the the,targeting options for being able to,Target specific audiences or create,those look-alike audiences that,sometimes work well uh on Tick Tock but,right now we're focusing on interests,and behaviors right so number one,interest okay so the interest we're,targeting users based on their their,interest general interest and purchase,intentions okay now this here at the top,so this is a suggestion by take talk now,I I would typically stay away from this,okay just because it's very skewed at,times so you don't want to,um you know you don't want to select all,these right at once it gives you some,recommendations in here but at times,it's not going to be accurate okay so I,would just steer away from that and,focus mor
