at,the caption in the first one it says 100,natural herbal cream number one of the,whole world,absolute terms and the second one says,use this service and get married,in three days well that's not okay,now let's talk about the second reason,that ads get rejected,which is if ads show products or,services from a prohibited industry,i have seen a lot of ads get rejected,for this particular reason,it's really important for you to know,the list of prohibited,items from your own market tick tock has,always maintained,very strong policies for an authentic,and safe user experience,which is why we don't allow items like,illegal drugs or,adult content you can have a look at the,whole list,if you visit the help center link in,your ads platform,the first part contains the products or,services which are currently prohibited,in all countries and regions like,cigarettes weapons gambling political,ads and more,and the second part contains the list,from various different markets,now is important,but also the website that you are,promoting and that should comply with,the local rules so as to safeguard our,users,moving on the next reason has to do with,issues of the ads,texts or captions for example ads with,spelling errors,excessive or distracting capitalization,of certain words,or using symbols in place of letters,there could also be issues like,incomplete texts and hey guys so i finally have an update for,you i know i've been kind of gone for a,few weeks just got done with a vacation,for like two weeks honestly guys long,vacations are not it definitely stick to,the shorter ones so i wanted to kind of,give you guys an update what's going on,i know a lot of you guys been sitting,tick tock bands,and you guys have been trying different,methods so i kind of want to address,some of those methods,tell you what will work best,and tell you how to kind of overcome or,avoid these bands so,first of all,um let's just go straight to the band,part because that's what a lot of you,guys been asking so,tick-tock bands the reason why they are,happening or so suddenly they just kind,of start hitting everybody is,there's a thing called like,uh band sweeps they're quite often,happen in facebook in the early days,they just have like three months where,you get banned whatever you try running,you just get banned no matter even if,you run like cat videos you still get,banned so that happens,um it is annoying,typically the last couple months,um not much you can do about it but here,are some things that we can,avoid or things that we could pretty,much help ourselves not to get banned so,first of all guys i'll say creatives,i know,um i've kind of given you guys a,creative so i'm trying to figure out a,good way to let the new guys start off,with creatives and not getting banned,but while the more experienced guys to,make their own creatives because if,everybody's in the same creative is,right they kind of could link all the,accounts together and just ban everybody,at once that's kind of what happened,so,um trying to figure that out but make,your own creatives especially if you're,running some traffic making some money,and you got to figure out major and,craves they're pretty simple um you know,you could hire somebody on fiverr you,know go on fiverr search spoke person,hire somebody you'll even see the guys,that i hire or dm,you know some tick tock,you know well what works a lot is you,know having a cute girl,dance or some,make even like hey you know get this,loan,that helps as well write a script,however when you make your own cribs you,have to get them approved by the am so,please message your am because the,reason they do this is,um the people that buy the leads want to,make sure that the ads are compliant,they're not running some scammy stuff,like you know pictures of biotin and,stuff like that obviously you know you,could get really cheap cpas by doing,things that are very,illegal,that's kind of illegal you know running,uh government stuff,um but you know you'll get leads for,very cheap but you'll get cut real quick,because um the people that are signing,up for it think that it's free money but,it's actually not and so you'll be,removed from the offer that's how it,always is,um,so number one make better creatives,make your own creatives number two is,that,um,we swap so,uh urls or domains get flagged as well,so we swapping on offer 209 we're,swapping like every three days every,four days we're swapping a different,domain so we're addressing that issue so,if you kept getting banned like a week,ago and you can figure out try again now,um because you're gonna get a new link,and typically you know we have like,hundreds of these links so,you might not get banned again,um,so that's mainly to you know creative uh,and domain now if we want if you're,trying those both and you're still,getting banned i'll probably go a little,bit more granular,and look into,um,payment methods so if you could get a,different card switch it up cool,resources privacy they link to your bank,account,it's only for debit cards unfortunately,you can't use credit cards with them but,link to your bank account and they will,pretty much,give you issue you a different credit,card a different debit card every time,so let's say you know,and it's privacy.com look into it's,pretty simple,um,and then another one is,your ip address,now see i'm,i don't think they're doing this because,it's really advanced trying to figure,out in blacklist ips but they could be,so you know a good way to do that is,don't use vpn guys because vpns are,always flagged um so don't use vpns what,i'll suggest is go to coffee shop and,make a tick tock account there,um i think it's one account creation not,when you use the account you could still,probably log in in the ip that got you,banned and be fine,or you could uh,tether your phone and do a hot spot,and that will pretty much,change your ip so if you go on airplane,mode wait five minutes remove airplane,mode you can see what's my ip and your,ip gets renewed so that's another way to,switch up ip,but those are probably the main four,things i'll tell you guys to tackle so,first tackle creative um,you if you grab a link right now from,offer 209 it's already gonna be a new,domain,so do that again you could also create,agency accounts i know i've promised you,guys the you're getting an ad you're,seeing an ad you don't want to get,anything kind of misleading or you don't,want to get anything that's wrong,or you know causing harm to somebody,else or even taking,there's a lot of you know charlatan,schemes out there and stuff of that,nature,so again this is a protected agents,against that so they're gonna err on the,side of caution when it comes to that,now when you think about the next reason,okay so the next reason,is going to be your text and your,caption right so make sure you're,texting your caption is,done properly there is no kind of,there's no um,like weird instances of you know having,like uh different characters and stuff,of that nature that should not be in,there like false links,or something of that nature that would,give that false indication of that,right so tick tock does give the,variability to have your ad,in an ad quality of a video go directly,to your url if you're going to a landing,page or,something selling something that's not,like a product service,e-commerce or whatever the case may be,right so you don't,have to go ahead and spam the algorithm,of that nature so that's,what this is basically doing is saying,don't falsify stuff don't do,grammar mistakes and stuff like that,don't really indicate,different things so make sure your stuff,is done properly so when you make your,creative make sure that's done,right the next is going to be video,quality there are highly,obviously this is this is a video based,atmosphere right so video quality,and your image quality is going to very,much be,very important right so when it comes,down to it too the audio is something,that is very important when it comes,to that video so if you don't have any,audio,it's going to tell you hey we're not,going to the page make sure what you're,promoting is what you're promoting on,your page and they too,do line up properly right so when it,comes down to it your price here,is your price here and that's end you're,not going to go ahead and say,oh by the way the price is here just to,get the click through and the price is,raised or is different than what it is,supposed to be,right so that's a very key indicator,right there,another one is uh your website itself,needs to have the proper indications on,here like this is,in itself you know website promoting uh,functions and stuff like that so when running tick tock ads do you,need a landing page now some people run,ads direct to a website and that is a,complete no-no complete waste of money,so always always send your ads to a,specific landing page that matches your,ad now then do you actually need a,landing page,the answer is,no because,like on facebook you can do a lead,generation campaign,and with that it will send people to a,form,so on tick tock all you need to do is,under the,objectives is you choose the lead,generation objective and then that will,guide you through how to set up,a form,on tick-tock,which then captures the leads for you,and then you email them you call them,back,that way you don't need a landing page,so let's have a little quick dive in and,i'll show you how to do it,okay so when you jump into the tick tock,ads manager,and you go to cut you click campaign and,you click create new,you will come to this screen you want to,have it in custom mode,not the simplified mode go custom and,then you've got all of your advertising,objectives here so we want to do a lead,generation so we can use the,form on tick tock so we click the lead,generation,give it a name we'll just give it test,click continue,then you would set up your ad group,audience name,so,whatever your naming convention is,now we're not going into targeting here,we're doing that on another video all,i'm showing you at the moment is how to,set,up the,the form,empty in there,okay so this is where you upload your,video and everything so we don't want to,do that because we're not doing that at,the moment this is the bit we want we,want to create,the form,what people fill out,so it gives you two options here,classic,or the advanced,so if you're starting out,i would just stick with the classic to,be honest we're going to look at the,advance,so click confirm there so up the top,here you can title what you want to your,form is so you know what form it is so,if you want to use it again for a,different ads you know what it is so,using your same naming convention,do that,what are you after do you want more,volume or higher intent,with that as they say higher intent is,they'll make you um,the more questions will,stop people from filling the form out so,if you only want quality leads,then ask more relevant questions,if you're after more volume,then click the more volume so you've got,three color schemes or you can you can,choose your own color scheme,i'm gonna go with that one the dark one,then you can add an images so up here on,the right hand side look you can see,what your form looks like,so you can add an image,you can do a carousel i would just,upload one image,you can add your logo if you want to,you can put your name so let's put my,name then polly five-step funnels,find out more about,tick tock ads,and then you could put um,put in your questions that you want to,ask so you want the email for sure you,want their name,i would take their telephone number as,well,what else can we add in,privacy so you'll need to put a link to,your privacy policy so on your website,you should have your own privacy policy,so just put in the url of your privacy,policy there,and if you want to add in an extra image,you can add an image,you can add in extra text,and you can add in a carousel i wouldn't,put a carousel in to be honest,and then you've got your thank you,screen so on your thank you screen you,want to tell people what's going to,happen next,and then on here,so say somebody you were filling a,format and you were collecting these,you're going to phone them or you're,going to email them for more information,so in that description i would say,we will be in touch,with you,very soon to,discuss your options potions,with,tip talk ads,and i would just put thank you up here,and then if you did have a page,so for example if i had a page all about,title cards and what i could offer you,i always put find out more and then i'd,link to the website url which is all,about,tick tock ads or if you haven't got it,because you're doing a form and you,maybe haven't got a landing page about,what are what it is just send them to,your website or you could send them to,your instagram profile you could send,them to your facebook group you just,need to put a url in there for them to,go find out more,so you could put in your description,um,come and join me in my facebook group,and put your facebook group website url,in there,and that is how you do your form,on face um on tiktok so then what,happens is when somebody clicks the ad,instead of being taken to a website page,or a landing page the form,instantly pops up they can,very very quickly,fill out the form,because it auto-populates,and all they've got to do is click the,button and then you've got their details,and it's a fast way of getting,leads,i hope you found that helpful if you,have any questions about setting up your,forms on tiktok please drop them below,and follow along for more tips,you

tick tock has an ad revenue sharing,program called pulse and i finally,figured out how it works and it provides,a blueprint for how instagram and,youtube could also start splitting,revenue with creators and publishers for,reals and shorts respectively but first,we've got to go over why operating a,revenue sharing program for these short,form video platforms is so complicated,when youtube's been operating in a,revenue sharing program for its,traditional long form videos for more,than a decade,ticktock can't say that because they,don't have the thing what thing don't,they have they don't have an adsense,yeah tick-tock pulse and it says right,here with tick-tock pulse we will begin,exploring our first advertising revenue,share program with creators public,figures and media publishers although i,don't see anything about how it's,determining the revenue split which,wouldn't be straightforward since videos,and ads are separate in feeds,so,all right we'll have to ask tick tock,about that one,youtube already has the model everyone,wants do you think it's the model or the,technology that's the problem like,what's the difficulty of launching the,thing so i think for youtube it's very,easy to say we will extend our current,advertising model from regular youtube,to shorts,the problem to solve there is,it's not pre-roll right it's in between,swipes of video right so you have to,figure out who's responsible for the,impression like the verge,editor-in-chief nelly patel said in that,interview with hank green on his decoder,podcast the tricky thing about running a,revenue sharing program on a short form,video platform whether it's tick tock or,instagram rails or youtube shorts is,that the ads appear separately between,videos whereas on youtube the ads are,inserted into the videos this makes it,easy for youtube to split up the ad,revenue because it just counts all the,ads served to people watching creators,or publishers video how would the,revenue split work on tick tock then,should the video that played before the,ad get the credit and what about the,video that plays after the ad or all the,other videos that don't play before or,after an at so i emailed tic tac task,and i got an answer only the video that,plays before the ad is part of the pulse,program and eligible for a share of the,ad revenue the video that plays after,the ad is just a regular video and does,not qualify for a rev share also a tick,tock spokesperson said that it doesn't,matter how long a person watches a video,or watches an ad for the eligible video,to receive a revenue share meaning that,a person could swipe right past the,video swipe right past the ad and the,creator or publisher still gets paid so,basically tick-tock has adopted a,post-roll ad format for its revenue,sharing program by effectively attaching,ads to the end of videos and then,sharing the ad revenue with the makers,of those videos seems fine for a creator,publisher but how do advertisers feel,about this setup to answer that i talked,with stacy stewart who is the us chief,marketplace officer at um worldwide an,ad agency that has brand clients that,have been testing out running ads,through ticktock's pulse program stacy,said she was a little hesitant about,tick-tock pulse being at heart a,post-war program because tick tock's,charging more for these ads than for,regular ads even though to someone using,tick-tock it would be hard to tell that,these ads are any different from a,regular hat but stacy wanted to test out,tick-tock balls to see if the ads,performed any differently than regular,ads and while she said she couldn't,share specific results with me she did,say that all of um's clients participate,in the test have seen lifts in brand,awareness as a result this answers the,main question of how an ad revenue,sharing program could work on short form,video platforms like tick tock and,instagram rails and youtube shorts where,ads appear between videos in a feed but,how tick tock's program actually works,opens up a whole other question if a,creators or publisher's video must be,followed by an ad to receive a revenue,split how many ads are gonna get crammed,into people's feeds

what's going on guys max finn here with,a quick video today about some tick tock,compliance and poly stuff policy stuff,now before i almost got so bored saying,that word i couldn't even finish that,word now before you skip this video,you're going to want to watch this,because i'm going to be sharing,something we actually just had a,tick tock's been doing kind of private,calls for some of their bigger,advertising agencies with their,compliance and policy team we did an,hour training with them and they really,broke down a lot of the deep stuff in,terms of how the moderator system works,how deep moderators go in funnels a lot,of valuable stuff and so what i want to,talk about today is specifically that,section which is,what do moderators look at and how deep,do moderators go in the flow and in the,journey because a lot of people don't,know right it's hey is the moderator,clicking through the entire funnel are,they opting into lead magnets are they,looking at emails and sms follow-up like,what are they doing there so,if you're running offers right now again,one of the biggest challenges that i see,in our insider's group,is people running,white hat really compliant products but,they're getting rejected because tick,tock's policy is always changing and,it's still super aggressive and super,strict so i want to share this video,again the point is video i'm not,endorsing any black hat or gray hat,advertising that's not the purpose of,video i only want you doing this if,you're selling really high quality white,hat compliant products just i'm,prefacing this video by doing that,because that's really important to me so,let's keep this pretty pretty sure i'm,gonna keep this really concise because,uh quinn and lure is a walk to come back,any minute,so basically after this talk we had with,the compliance team at tic toc where we,took the steeper dive what we basically,found out and got confirmed from the,team over there is that moderators do,not go that deep meaning they are really,going they're looking they're analyzing,the creative really deeply they're,analyzing kind of everything you do on,tick tock really really deeply meaning,the audio the text even the text,subtitles and videos they're looking at,all of that stuff right so deep deep,analysis and moderation and flagging on,the algo level and human level on the ad,side then they're also doing deep work,in terms of research and scanning the,landing page so where you're driving,that traffic so those are the two parts,that they are really looking at they're,looking at intensely right both humans,and algorithms um now this is where it's,interesting,basically to us is that after after that,page pretty much nothing gets looked at,right it wasn't 100 confirmed guaranteed,but it was like pretty much i don't know,any but no mods are doing right because,mods don't want to put their personal,information into forms like up their,emails in or their real phone numbers in,so basically if you have like an opt-in,form if you're doing a lead magnet if,you're doing anything like that,they are looking at the page that the,lead magnet and opt-in form is on but,they aren't going further they're not,actually opting and looking at the,emails or the text messages or the,upsell pages or the follow-up of the,funnel um and so for me what we're,looking at is like okay there are,certain industries where tech talks,giving us a really hard time doing,direct offer so what we're looking at,now is let's build out kind of,educational content entertainment,content that can either be articles,ebooks guides trainings whatever it,might be that isn't selling a product,but it's getting the right person into,the ecosystem that has the problem that,we are going to eventually solve for,them and then leveraging email,automation sms automation phone calls,retargeting on other channels to,actually close the deal and make the,pitch,so so i give that kind of piece of,advice to everyone watching this video,if you were advertising on tick tock,right now and you are an industry that,is uh,a little more strict that you're getting,kind of constant rejections and you,don't really know why because you're,selling a high quality product that's,like you see it seems like it's it's in,terms of use um this is a great strategy,this is something that is working for us,it's working for a lot of bigger friends,of mine that are spending lots of money,on other industries,so basically what i want you to think,about is how can you create some type of,front end either content advertorial,article quiz lead magnet whatever it,might be,where it's all about information and not,about actually pitching a product or,service you're not actually selling,anything in the ad creative or in the,landing page itself you're doing all of,the selling on the back end and the,selling is only happening to people that,have actually opted in and completed a,series of questions and forms hi everybody this is ian lamont author,of flea media and the founder of two,e-commerce businesses an amazon seller,for many years and also i op i operate a,shopify store and i've recently,connected it with with tiktok so i can,run tick tock ads and also have a tick,tock account for my business,i've discovered in the catalog manager,that there's a problem when some of your,products are synced to tick tock that it,automatically rejects them for various,reasons sometimes the reasons are,legitimate sometimes not so taking a,look at these products that we have we,have 68 items total and you can see most,of them say available for tick tock,marketing and tick tock tick tock,shopping and it says in stock sometimes,you'll see one that says it says it's in,stock but it says unavailable,and this means it's been rejected for,some reason and actually if we go to the,third page,of my items you can see that almost all,of them are unavailable there's just a,few that are available most are,unavailable and here's how to appeal,their automated,removal from your catalog so just click,on the name of the product,and you'll see in the right corner here,your advertised product has been,suspended it might have been disabled,due to violation of our advert,advertising policies and if you click on,the policy it'll show all kinds of scary,language about the stuff that they do,not want you advertising or even,including in the catalog and these are,things like uh weapons um you know,prohibited items like you know drugs,uh,maybe there's some ish issue with uh,animal parts and things like that and of,course we're not selling anything like,that actually let's just scroll down and,see some of the crazy things you know,adult sexual products police military,gears political ads so these are things,that we're not doing and we're not in a,restricted industry i mean we're,basically selling something that,genealogists use it's nothing it's,nothing illegal or anything like that so,to appeal click on the button that says,appeal,and then you have to,click on continue,and then they'll say,reason for appeal so what i do is i,actually have,a quick,a quick uh,explanation of why my product is not,illegal it's genealogy stationary made,of paper it's for people researching,family trees i make it clear that it's,not a forbidden product or forbidden,industry and it's not violating,tick-tock policies i just copy that and,then i paste it over into reason for,appeal and the reason why i just copy,and paste is because i have to do this,over and over again because many of my,products were rejected that way and then,i click appeal,and so i found that currently this is in,early 2022 it takes about two or three,hours for them to review the appeal i,don't know if it's automated or they,actually try to have human beings,looking at it,but in this case all of my older items,that i've appealed already almost all of,them have been successful there's been a,few that are not i'll have to look into,those later on but this makes it,possible now for me to advertise these,products for more information on how to,get the most out of your shopify store,selling on amazon,you know,using amazon advertising marketing i,have all kinds of videos about this if,you go to leanmedia.org,click on video or blog you'll see some,of these posts that i have and also if,you're following this on youtube if you,could like the video and then follow,subscribe to the lean media channel i'd,greatly appreciate that and i usually,release a new video about once or twice,a week this is ian lamont signing off,thank you so much for watching
