in today's video i'm going to teach you,how to create a really simple engaging,tiktok ad that is going to get you lots,of organic reach and impressions using,only photos from aliexpress,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video,in my last video i showed you how to,create a high converting tiktok ad using,video from aliexpress and in today's,video i'm going to show you how to do,the same but this time using only photos,here's the video we are going to create,help me pick a halloween costume for my,daughter one,maleficent two,cinderella three,tinker bell,four bell,five,aurora,with a video like this because you're,asking people to vote on which costume,you should choose you can expect a few,different comments people will comment a,number to vote on their favorite or they,will type the character's name,a video with a lot of engagement like,this tells the algorithm that this is a,good video and therefore it will get,recommended to even more people and you,don't even have to pay for ads this is,completely free,even though this doesn't have a call to,action at the end i can almost guarantee,that people will ask where is this from,or where can i get this so have the link,in your bio ready to go so that you can,point people to your store when they ask,here's how you can make your own,first start by going to the aliexpress,listing of your choice and save the,photos to your phone,next what you want to do is open the,tick tock app and tap the upload button,select the photos you want to add and,tap next,tiktok will automatically generate a,slideshow for you and will include music,on it i'll show you later in the video,how to turn the music off if you want to,next we are going to add your text so,tap the text icon and start typing your,first sentence you can add a background,to the text or change the colors,feel free to make this as fancy or as,plain as you like,then once you're finished tap the text,again and then select duration,adjust this so that it only appears on,your first photo,after that touch the text again and,select text to speech,you can select any voice you want here i,chose jessie,now we're going to add in our options so,tap the text icon and type out your,first choice,edit the text as desired and then touch,the text and select duration edit the,duration to only appear on the second,photo,and then tap the text again and select,text-to-speech,and then you are just going to repeat,these same steps for every option you,have,i know this looks like a lot of work but,it actually only took me about five,minutes i do find that text-to-speech,can be a little bit finicky though so if,you're comfortable using your own voice,i would suggest doing a voiceover,instead and then adding closed,captioning i showed you how to do that,in my previous video which i'll have,linked in my description box if you want,to check it out once all of the text has,been added our final step is to either,mute or change the music to do this tap,the music icon and if you want to choose,a different music track you can select,it here,then tap volume if you want to,completely mute the music then drag it,down to zero but if you want to include,it just bring it down to a volume where,it doesn't drown out your text-to-speech,if you guys want more inspiration on,different types of video ads you could,create go to tick-tock's creative center,then go to inspiration and top ads,and then adjust these settings to,whatever fits your target audience,and then for campaign objectives either,select conversions if that's what you,want or whatever your objective is and,then take a look through the videos and,if you happen to find one that you like,and you want me to show you how to,recreate it you can share the video with,me by joining our private facebook group,if this video helped you and you want to,see more content like this do me a favor,and give it a thumbs up or leave a,comment down below and make sure to,subscribe for more videos like this

then,they want to use the similar content,that they have there on tik-tok because,they think it's just copy and paste and,to be honest with you it's not like that,using images or gifs on your actual,tik-tok ads are not going to increase,your conversions if anything it's,actually going to decrease your,conversion rates and actually raise your,overall cost per cpm,and you know you don't want your actual,tick tocks to look like ads and a big,motto that ticktock has is make tick,tocks not ads and that's the main,premise here you don't want to be,creating content that looks like this,where you have these overlays or these,big call outs of the you know specific,offer and like red you know these red,circles here or having you know the,branding on the side of this those types,of ads just don't work on tick tock,people scroll right past those you want,the content to look native you want it,to feel like user generated content in,fact i'm actually going to be covering,ways you can get ugc later in this video,but specifically right here you want to,make sure to avoid you know templated,content even some of the biggest brands,in the world have fault prone to this,where they actually you know use the,branding and they use these basic videos,and while they get engagements they're,not really resulting in conversions so,if you're really looking to drive actual,sales and increase your hello everyone welcome back to your,favorite marketing channel life,marketing and in today's design guide,we're going to be putting together a,video ad for tick tock on canva,tik tok is a video based networking,service so it goes without saying that,you can throw the idea of using,traditional still ads out the window if,you want to grab someone's attention on,this platform you need to make use of,great videos and music to go along with,those videos also another thing to take,note of is that your ad design for this,platform will have to be in portrait,mode that's 9x16 in dimension or,1080x920 pixels this gives us an extra,space compared to traditional square ads,with a 1 by 1 ratio and of course as we,have done so in previous design guides,here on live marketing we'll be using,canva so let's go ahead and jump right,into their website if you're familiar,with canva at this point you already,know the drill every design starts with,a click of this button and let's type in,tick-tock and select tick-tock in-feed,add and it should open up a new design,canvas in the right dimensions for us to,start with now let's take a look at some,preset templates of course alternatively,you can start from scrap but i find that,these preset templates canva offers are,a pretty good starting point and will,save us a bit of time since we're,starting with a base layout instead of a,blank canvas for this guide let's say,i'm making an ad for a sale on a,restaurant with a new and improved,burger soon to be launched this template,i think fits it well now let's go ahead,and edit the elements to fit our brand,better starting with removing elements i,won't be using let me just go ahead and,delete this and let's change the,background color to something more,fitting for food okay now i think i'm,going to go ahead and replace the,featured video here for this guide i'll,be using a stock video but as a rule of,thumb for any ad you make an actual,image or video of your product or,service will always be best so as to,truly showcase what you're offering okay,for this guide i'll use this video here,and drag it into the video container and,edit the length you don't want your ad,to run too long as your goal is to,capture your audience's attention with,the least amount of time possible let's,stick to 10 seconds for this first frame,once again tiktok is a video based,platform so really your priority for,this ad is maximizing movement so for,this design i think i want to try using,the same video we used here in the,center to also be in the background,but this time way more transparent so,let me drag this into the canvas like,this and then edit the transparency and,length of the video okay,now i want to add some animated elements,like strokes so in the search bar on the,elements tab let's type in strokes and,in the settings button here let's edit,it to only show animated elements now we,have a few animated stroke elements to,choose from let's apply a few to the,design i'm happy with the first slide,let's now duplicate it to create a,second slide that'll feature just the,background video of the burger with the,logo featured at the center like so for,this one let's just set it to two,seconds again we don't want this ad to,run too long with the first slide being,10 seconds this would bring us to a,total of 12 seconds also don't forget to,try out different audios and see which,music fits your video best here in,canvas audio tab once you're happy go,ahead and save your ad to an mp4 file,and there you have it a tech talk video,ad,hey we just helped a small business make,over 1.5 million dollars through,facebook advertising and after managing,millions of dollars in ad spend for,thousands of different small businesses,we have decided to give away everything,we learned to you in a special program,if you want to learn the blueprint to,success the best practices from some of,the fastest growing companies in the,world and all the different tools you,will need then sign up for our social,ads training program today,that is it for today's video friends if,you learned anything please give us a,quick thumbs up below and subscribe to,our channel for more essential digital,marketing guides this is jelly from life,marketing thanks so much for tuning in,and i'll catch you on the next one,you

using  ,tick tock in our marketing agency the affluent  agency and we're generating a ridiculous amount  ,of new revenue for our clients at the moment using  the platform i cannot wait to bring this to you  ,guys today it's been a long time coming i've got  a presentation ready for you we're going to jump  ,onto it in a second but before we do i want  to announce a quick competition on this 128 million in  ,user spending marking an increase of 380 from its  january 2020 revenue so it's growing year on year  ,almost 4x in user revenue now take top ranks  as the second biggest app in consumer spend  ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this  is probably the uh the biggest stat on this  ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in  consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the facebook  ,ad manager now a ad campaign is the foundation  of your ad so we're setting up our advertising  ,objectives and formats we then have ad group which  is target audiences ad placements budget and the  ,bidding then we have the ad creative which is  the text and the video that will appear on our  ,apps what we're physically seeing then finally our  landing page and this is the destination url that  ,we are driving our potential customers too this  is the place where they will actually buy our  ,products or service so when you actually have your  tick tock ad account up and running this is kind  ,of what the format will look like we have our ad  manager at the top we have campaigns beneath that  ,then inside an ad campaign we would have multiple  ad groups so we'll be testing out multiple  ,audiences and inside those audiences we may even  be testing out multiple different ad creatives  ,as well so what are the actual creative the the  creative formats that we can use on tick tock well  ,we have top view on the left hand side here which  is like a full-size video which shows up when we  ,launch the app we don't have brand tank takeover  now these are the most expensive tic toc ads and  ,very large brands use these and again these come  up right at the start of launching the app and it  ,takes over the entire screen then have in feed ads  this is what we're going to be you page is,like the instagram explorer page it's,like the facebook watch,it's the the algorithm feeding you what,they think,you would be interested in what i would,recommend if you're not active on tick,tock,just follow a bunch of people in your,market in industry and,because of that tick tock will start to,see what it is that you like,and they'll try to serve you more of the,stuff based on what they think you like,one thing that i realized made it good,is that it gives us,a framework to see what,is converting and what works and you,will see,that on tick tock there are a lot of,people in serious markets,plastic surgeons chiropractors,that is crushing it on tick-tock not by,doing,stupid dance moves but by creating,content,that is relevant to their market but,my my goal for you guys here is to help,you,walk away from today's session with,one great ad utilizing the framework,that i'm literally using right now based,on,like literally how i spent my day today,okay so choose your character is where,you know it's got a lot of different,themes to it it could be like different,different bartenders different work from,home moms,different ways to wear your mask but the,theme of it,and based on the song it sounds like you,know choose your character so,the market that i'm in it's like you,know choose your marketing guru right,choose your,the style that that resonates with you,okay so this is something that i've been,working on,a lot which is basically not not about,creating videos on tick tock,but rather use utilizing tick-tock,music and themes that is,proven to be viral and shareable and,engaging,and utilizing that as an ad,so how can i connect it to my offer so,if the video is,on choose your guru types i'm gonna,think about what's the story because,that this video is gonna be posted on,facebook when people are scrolling,this is what stops the school this is a,great scroll stopper,but on its own it's not gonna make money,so how can it make money it can make,money,if we can link it with the offer well so,how can we,link this to the offer by having a story,so imagine if somebody is scrolling on,facebook,and they're scrolling scrolling,scrolling and all of a sudden they see,that ad,which is this 15 second choose your guru,video so,it's a great pattern interrupt they're,watching this video,they're engaged but it doesn't mean,anything so now what i need to do next,is to think about what's the right up,and what's the story that connects to,this hook,so for example if the hook is having,different type of gurus,the story would be ultimately there are,a lot of different,teachers and gurus and marketers out,there with different personality types,and you gotta find a method that,resonates with who you are your,personality,and double down on that okay so so that,could be the story,right we all have our own unique way,that could be polarizing,that could be eccentric that could be,weird that could be funny,so that's a story right many different,type of guru types and,i would love to be able to help you tell,that story,that angle in a unique way that,fits your character and if you would,love to be able to do this,in a way that is That's the whole point of TikToks.,So you really need to distill your story down quickly.,So one to two sentences of where you were at before and then the transformation,that you've experienced because of your business, your product, your service,,whatever it is that you're offering. I gave this one a shot.,So here's my example.,The third type of TikTok is called get to know me. However,,this one's a little bit more like answering a common misconception that people,have about you or your business.,So if there's a question you get all the time or there's a common belief that,people have about you that's wrong.,This type of TikTok is perfect for you to set the record straight.,Here is an example of the get to know me TikTok.,And of course I've made my own version of this TikTok.,So go ahead and watch this and get to know me.,The fourth type of TikTok for your business is jumping on what's already,trending. You might not know this,,but there is a discover page on TikTok similar to the explore page on Instagram.,So I recommend pulling up your TikTok,,hitting the discover tab and check out what hashtags are trending.,So right away I see something called maple syrup day could be really relevant,for me as a Canadian.,There's also a hashtag called morph and that's a trending challenge.,So it looks like people are blending their pictures together to show their,transformation. There's another one called holiday covers, never zero.,Not sure what that is, but let's look into any one of them.,Let's check out morph,,and I can see that this hashtag has 42 million views.,So let's check out this Ariana morph and just to get an idea,,So it's pretty straight forward.,There's obviously a feature built into TikTok called morph that allows you to,mesh your photos together. So this may not really be an explicit,,you know, invitation to your business,,but it just might show your evolution as a human.,Maybe you can throw a few business-y pictures in there,,but really the point of this one is just to jump on the trending hashtags so,that maybe your TikTok goes viral.
