so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the campaign,and for that they uh they jumped into,tiktok for the first time,um using the creation you know building,on the creation of a new,music video by by the singer called,ashniko,and that really plays up the beats daisy,challenge,and it's a very recent campaign it goes,a lot it went live on,saturday 11th of july and what's nice,about it is that it invites the tiktok,community's participation,over a four week period that's tied into,separate challenges,that essentially ties into the launch of,four different colors,of beats's new i think it's called power,beats pro headphones,so there's a blue there's a yellow,there's a pink and a red,i'm teaming up with beats to make a,kick-ass colorful video from my new song,daisy,it's going to feature all the new,beautiful what's up marketers i'm super excited,about today's video because it's,actually going to be my first one about,tick tock ads now if you follow me over,on twitter you already know what a huge,tick tock ads fan i am i am super,bullish on this platform and i think it,has the most potential for growth in,2022. think like facebook ads in 2017.,this is why i'm stoked to partner with,my very good friend need to,test right now on the platform many of,these i learned directly from savannah,they are pure gold as to what is,actually working on this platform and,frankly they're also what is performing,on facebook ads as well so let's go,ahead and dive right in the first,strategy is what i like to call a,problem solution ad now this is actually,a pretty standard approach to creating,not only all user generated types of,content but also just most types of ads,but what makes this tick tock specific,of course is the use of different types,of tick tock style font and also the,different types of transitions but,here's the actual recipe that i use to,create that kind of content first we,like to describe the problem in the hook,so that's within the first three seconds,of the ad and i like to use i statements,with quotations it makes it seem a,little bit more relatable and then after,that you agitate or elaborate more on,the problem and then you present your,product or service as the solution to,that problem and then describe the,how-to of your product or service this,is really common more like,subscription-based brands or if you have,to take some kind of quiz to get matched,up to your specific type of product or,whatever and then you can add in as many,benefits and features as you want and,then end with a really catchy cta and,strategy number two definitely a,savannah special is the tick tock made,me buy it ad and the recipe here is,pretty self-explanatory in the hook you,use the phrase tic toc made me buy it or,some variation of that phrase and i like,to do two things here i either like to,have it overlaying with a video or image,of the actual product or of someone's,face then you get to introduce the,product of course if you already didn't,do that in the first hook,but i like to encourage my creators to,think like an influencer here um you,know really think about how you can show,it more aesthetically use some golden,hour lighting or do some fun transitions,and then you can go into as many,benefits or features as you want and,then end with a catchy cta number three,is a goodie and i might say that it's my,current fave i've actually personally,used this strategy across multiple,clients and for one client in particular,i'm not kidding it cut the cpa on,facebook ads in half practically,overnight,so if you have to choose one strategy to,test out of all 10 of these,i might try this one and this is the,tick tock response strategy and the,recipe here looks like this in the hook,you have to use the tick tock response,bubble and try to make it look as native,as possible i would go ahead and do it,right in the tik tok ads app and then,export it out and then compile the rest,inside of premiere pro or cap cut and i,would actually encourage you guys to,test as many different things inside of,that tick tock response bubble as you,can and i would actually encourage you,guys to test several different types of,messaging within that tick tock response,bubble and my suggestions here would be,to think about the inherent value of,your product or think about specific,benefits that you hear over and over,again and try to keep the tone really,really casual you want it to feel like,it's something that someone would be,responding to a piece of content on,tiktok and i've also seen that using,emojis directly in that bubble tends to,help as well after that i like to follow,up with a strong positive testimonial,about the product and then go through,the different product variations or even,a how-to using the green screen method,or showing the website flow then throw,in another strong testimonial or benefit,and then close out with a strong cta and,then number four is what internally at,theseus we call the stepwise video now i,have made other videos where i featured,this ad type before,and i still really recommend it i,believe what savannah calls this is the,three reasons why strategy and here's,how the recipe what's up marketers today we're going to,be looking over some great examples of,tick tock ads now I know what you're,thinking how do we know these are great,Tick Tock ads how does she know that,they perform well maybe just maybe I,have access to some of these accounts,and I actually know the performance,therefore I am showing you ads that are,performing well,maybe or maybe I'm just showing you the,ads that I found in Tick Tock top ads,Library which actually shows the ads,that are getting the top percentage of,conversions for the industry maybe and,maybe at this point I just know a good,ad when I see one so let's go ahead and,dive into these 10 or so ads and we'll,do a little analysis together so I,actually just saw this ad on Tick Tock,top at library,and number one I love this hook the,Smashing of the egg I actually think it,wasn't super clear what it was at first,and I was wait no is that an egg is it,nine egg I don't know,this I feel like could have been a,little bit better done I always love a,green screen effect but if you actually,listen to his script for this I'm like,not convinced that nectar actually sent,him this mattress I kind of think that,they just had someone in a showroom do,all of this and he just like,filmed like some part of it as like a,ugc Creator uh maybe not but I'm,skeptical anyways I still think it's a,good ad it has like all the Hallmark so,gonna add good hook,they could change up the framings a,little bit but you know this is a fun,one also you support green screens I,just see that working a lot right now,this ad by done this is kind of,interesting,and this isn't like super traditional,you know this isn't like the standard,ugc single testimonial format that we,always see,and I kind of like that,it's cool let's watch that again I feel,like it could the coloring could have,been a little more obvious because when,I see this I'm not immediately seeing,which one is right which one is wrong,but that's maybe why people are watching,it because they're a little confused I,wouldn't opt for the confusion method,but this is something that's so simple I,don't know this is a fun one to try,maybe you should try it too,ah this ad right here,let's take a look do you have a lot of,random messes,now what's so crazy this is an excellent,hook but what amazes me about this ad is,like Hoover is doing Tick Tock ads now,like,I mean she looks great and this is very,oddly assassin I like this I wish they,would just would have made an ad that is,them cleaning up all this random stuff,that would have made it I would have,watched like 20 seconds of that but I,think this is so funny her like a little,setup with like the Hoover and like all,the cleaning products like you can just,tell some like creative directors like,oh and you have to set it up like this,and do it like this and,this screams corporate meddling but I,mean it's still a pretty good Tick Tock,ad right but this little setup no one's,gonna do that I don't like that I'm not,gonna show this Daily Harvest ad you,guys have seen it in my videos add,nauseam we all know it's a good,performing app,let's watch this Issa ad,ah so a few things I really like about,this hook number one love this like,split screen ugc effect and one second,and it immediately changes she's inside,then she's outside and we also have,really engaging text want to become a,personal trainer this is immediately,calling out to people who want to be a,personal trainer so those people are,going to sit through and watch this now,this is really standard modular type of,ugc format what I mean by that is we,have a single testimonial that is then,overlaid with tons of really engaging,b-roll this is a super solid ad 10 out,of 10.,10 out of 10.,okay let's watch this other Issa ad now,I really love the use of these Tick Tock,response bubbles I find this to be,really really good on Tick Tock ads and,it's especially good if you are working,with a brand or product that maybe some,people aren't super familiar with so,this is a really good way to be like hey,like what is your product and like why,should I sign up why should it work for,me,um this is definitely one of their top,performing ads and I also just think the,Creator here Sonia she is super talented,we've worked with her on a number of,Brands before and her content is always,top-notch so way to go Sonia she's also,just super engaging in this ad she has a,lot of energy I think one of the things,that I have problems with the most with,working with creators is they don't,bring the energy it feels like they're,reading from a script they're not really,invested in what they're doing Sonia,brings the heat every single time we,love that,this bag right here this is interesting,now this ad has been running for Thrive,Cosmetics
