okay so um following speaker we can say,tik tok is the hottest social media,platform around for many merchants who,like to deliver tiktok as a powerful,marketing tool for increasing brand,awareness and of course selling products,there on tick tock so that's welcome,george from e-commerce mentoring,and he would like to show us about media,by the best practice for tiktaa as in,2022,hey george,hello hi thank you nice to have you here,thank you my pleasure can you see my,presentation,i think you should be able to see it now,okay,so,i'm going to be,walking us through um,to a two-part approach to the tick-tock,platform and marketing on the tech club,platform,so i'm going to be talking a little bit,about the tick tock platform and who is,it for because that is i consider that,to be,rather relevant especially with all the,hype and buzz going around,the tiktok platform i still do not,consider it as a broad spectrum platform,so albeit can be a very good to get good,results for certain niches and certain,products and certain approaches it's,still not something that you can,think,like facebook where,anything goes right so it's not there so,it's still important to talk about who,tick-tock is for and then once once,that's out of the way i'm going to talk,a little bit about um the best practices,for media buying on tick tock and i'm,going to be suggesting um a strategy,that i currently use for testing and,scaling on the tiktok platform,so,um this is a quick overview so when,should you advertise on tick tock and,then we're going to talk about the the,media buying strategy so,starting with the platform itself um,we all know that it is currently the,most popular online destination so it,has overtaken google surprisingly enough,last year in 2021 it overtook google as,the most popular online destination,and one of the big advantages is that,the advertising costs are significantly,lower,than some of its main competitors namely,facebook right,so you can get cpms as low as three to,five dollars on average if you have a,really good creative you can go down to,one sometimes even lower,so you know very very good advertising,costs,but,um it's you know it's not it's not a,platform that can be used for all niches,indiscriminately so that's what we're,going to talk about next it does have,the highest engagement rate out of all,digital marketing platforms there are,currently being used and that is that is,a very very very very relevant point,that i'm going to get back to so we have,a little a little information here,from um influencer marketing hub they,did a little study on the average,engagement rates from,some of the most popular marketing,platforms and you can see the contrast,is is very obvious from micro,influencers you get about 18 percent,engagement rate on tick tock average,when you get about four on instagram and,like one and a half on youtube and then,for mega influencers you know broader,audiences tend to have lower engagement,rates you still have,five percent on tick tock on average,1.21 on instagram and point,23.37 on on youtube so,for micro influencers,um you still get,around four around 1.6 on youtube where,from mega influencers tick tock is still,bigger so this is this is a huge,contrast for mega influencers the,engagement rate on tick tock is still,bigger than micro influencers on,instagram and youtube and for those of,you that do influencer marketing you,know how,huge of a factory this is because you,have to study your influencers you have,to study your engagement rates,and on average and just speaking about,this makes makes the contrast very very,obvious on average,a mega influencer on tick tock is still,going to get you a higher engagement,rate than a micro influencer on,instagram so,this does say a lot about the platform,and it does,speak to,how you must approach the platform it's,a platform that is made for engagement,it's not a platform of course this has a,downside and the downside is,it's not a platform that is going to,accept,all kinds of content all kinds of,promotions and all kinds of ads,like you would see on on facebook or,even instagram to some extent instagram,is kind of in between um,that being said some of the top,performing niches on,on tick tock right now tend to be health,fitness beauty baby niches so,things that correlate well with the,target audience that you're going to,find on tick tock which is,generally,younger people younger demographics the,most like 60 i believe,last last study that i saw about this at,least 60 percent of the um tick tock,audience was somewhere between,their 20s and their,late 30s so,very very young audience of course if,you're looking in terms of conversions,and this ties into the advertising costs,of course if you're thinking in terms of,traffic that will convert having a,younger demographic is not necessarily,better quite the contrary usually,because,naturally older people have more money,to spend and they they convert more,that's why you know that's why tick tock,is not

consumer spend  ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this  is probably the uh the biggest stat on this  ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in  consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the
