of,there's no um,like weird instances of you know having,like uh different characters and stuff,of that nature that should not be in,there like false links,or something of that nature that would,give that false indication of that,right so tick tock does give the,variability to have your ad,in an ad quality of a video go directly,to your url if you're going to a landing,page or,something selling something that's not,like a product service,e-commerce or whatever the case may be,right so you don't,have to go ahead and spam the algorithm,of that nature so that's,what this is basically doing is saying,don't falsify stuff don't do,grammar mistakes and stuff like that,don't really indicate,different things so make sure your stuff,is done properly so when you make your,creative make sure that's done,right the next is going to be video,quality there are highly,obviously this is this is a video based,atmosphere right so video quality,and your image quality is going to very,much be,very consumer spend  ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this  is probably the uh the biggest stat on this  ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in  consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the facebook  ,ad manager now a ad campaign is the foundation  of your ad so we're setting up our advertising  ,objectives and formats we then have ad group which  is target audiences ad placements budget and the  ,bidding then we have the ad creative which is  the text and the video that will appear on our  ,apps what we're physically seeing then finally our  landing page and this is the destination url that  ,we are driving our potential customers too this  is the place where they will actually buy our  ,products or service so when you actually have your  tick tock ad account up and running this is kind  ,of what the format will look like we have our ad  manager at the top we have campaigns beneath that  ,then inside an ad campaign we would have multiple  ad groups so we'll be testing out multiple  ,audiences and inside those audiences we may even  be testing out multiple different ad creatives  ,as well so what are the actual creative the the  creative formats that we can use on tick if you're watching this video there's a,very good chance that you're working,with a brand,a client,or a fantastic partnership where you,have been asked for an ad authorization,code or the ad code for your tick tock,videos i'm going to show you exactly how,to do it today and after i share exactly,how to do it step by step i'm going to,share with you a few things that are,really helpful to know about,partnerships sponsorships and working,with clients who pay you for your,content especially on tick tock so the,first thing you're going to do is pull,up your tick tock profile,you're going to go to the three little,lines in the upper right hand corner,and you're going to click on creator,tools,from there you're going to go ahead and,scroll on down and you're going to,select ad settings so at the very bottom,you see how there's that thing that says,setting add settings make sure it is,turned on because this is going to give,you account access to being able to,generate those codes,then you're going to select the video,that you want to authorize for ads now,keep this in mind and i'll talk more,about this in just a moment but if there,is copyrighted music,in your video it may be difficult or,even impossible to run an ad to it don't,try to skirt that rule so if this,doesn't work there's a very good chance,that particular video is not being,approved for running ads all right,so what you're gonna do is you're gonna,pick the video that you wanna run ads to,i just pumped out a ton of videos this,week so i'm going to scroll on down to,one that has done better for me,i'm going to scroll on down and let's,pull it up beautiful,so i'm selecting this particular video,as a tick tock that could have an ad now,keep in mind there is copyrighted music,in this so this one i wouldn't actually,run as a true tried and true ad as a,sponsored piece unless i had purchased,the rights to run it as an ad so i'm,gonna go ahead and select those three,little dots underneath uh on the on the,right hand side the three little dots so,as if you were gonna pin the video save,the video duet the video or copy the,link,i'm gonna scroll all the way on over,to add settings right before delete just,be careful here that you don't,accidentally hit delete alright,so i'm going to go ahead and turn on the,add settings,you can decide whether or not you want,to show this only as an ad so it never,shows up on the for you page i probably,don't recommend that unless you're in a,special contract for that but i'm going,to go ahead and select add authorization,and turn it on once i have,agreed to the advertising content terms,of service i'm going to turn on that,you're going to see the video status,change it says the video status will,change from private of or friends to,available for ads so that the authorized,ad teams can view your video super,important note,do not use this if you don't want your,video to be public unless it only shows,up as an ad but keep in mind it's still,going to show up to people so you can't,prevent your friends or family from,seeing it or the high school bullies all,right so i'm going to hit okay,and then from there i'm going to click,or click generate code i get to,determine the length of time that that,is uh generated for so you can authorize,it for seven days 30 days 60 days or 365,i'm really glad they added the 365,option,so i'm going to do seven days and i'm,going to click authorize now i'm going,to blur out my my specific code for this,because i don't want you guys to see it,actually you're not able to see it here,which is kind of nice you can delete the,code you can copy the code or you can,extend the authorization period so if,the period runs out for the,authorization to use it as an ad and,your client or sponsorship wants to,extend it this is where you would extend,that length of time so i'm going to go,ahead and hit copy code and then it is,going to be good to rock and roll for,the next seven days,give that code to whoever it is that,wants to run ads and you are all set to,go but here are a few more things that,you need to know about running ads,especially if you're being sponsored if,you have been looking for sponsorships,so number one you don't want to use,copyright and copyrighted music in,videos that are going to ultimately be,ads we've actually come up against this,many times this being a recurring issue,even with some of the audio that tic toc,has said is approved for ads we've,actually had issues with it so i,personally use a tool that's i think,like 200 bucks for the year called art,list you can go to artless.io,and pay for the annual subscription so,you can get unlimited access to,copyright free royalty-free music that,you can use potentially depending on the,song's terms in your tick tocks with no,issues for ads the second thing i want,to share with you is that if something,is going to be an advertisement it's,according to the ftc's regulations you,actually have to disclose that it is an,ad even if you're not being paid for

crispy setup as always but i'm with,my boys cody and ash and we're going to,dive deep into ashley's been doing some,really cool stuff that he's going to go,over on the tick tocks and then cody has,also been doing some amazing stuff on,the tick stock so again it'll be a,little bit of a tick-tock heavy episode,but um there's just going to be tons of,value in that because that really is the,channel right now that i think you can,really scale up on there's still a lot,of under pricing in those ads and um,there's no two better people to learn,from so ash let's start with you um kind,of what you've been doing and then cody,you can drop some bombs,yeah so,i think we've kind of all seen this like,phase everyone's going through of like,yo tick-tock is the next thing and then,and and it's a great platform um,obviously the organic side is something,that we have yet to kind of crack um but,we're seeing really good results on the,page,um,with that being said i think it still,has some ways to go in terms of how far,you can actually scale,um on the platform uh i mean if i could,i would i would move all my budget over,um but it's just i haven't been able to,crack you know,getting past that like five six k a day,and spend um cody i know you have,similar nah not much more so yeah so,right now we're spending around 5k a day,um the biggest the biggest biggest thing,i've seen is just that when we're,running on tick tock everything gets,better um you know facebook stats look,better,overall ncpa looks better even if like,in platform on tick tock and like say,like triple pixel tic toc doesn't look,like it's doing well overall still,performs better um and to cody's point,view through you know is so huge when it,comes to this platform,um,what i've noticed is obviously creative,fatigue is such a huge thing right um,you know people people say that you,gotta swap out stuff like every seven,days um what i've seen and i'm i'm sure,there's people out there like me where,like if a video has like two million,views a ton of engagement you don't want,to give it up right um so some of these,videos we've just kind of let run and,like,cpas don't look great like ctrs are,really low because it's super fatigue,cpcs are really high but because i'm,running it it everything still looks,good right so like our,ncpa's our overall ncpas are down,and the reason i'm thinking is because,it's just social proof kind of going out,there right it's just brand awareness,yeah you're kind of optimizing for you,know purchases but in general it's,driving top of the funnel awareness,which kind of triggers down to,everything else facebook and the other,ads that we're running so,what i'm trying to do now and cody you,tell me you know your uh,your opinion on this but what i'm gonna,do now moving forward is all the ads,that i've kind of left running for like,two three four weeks i have super,engagement i'm gonna repurpose them um,and instead of running for like,optimizing for purchases i'm probably,just gonna optimize for like view,content on a lower budget,just so i can kind of hit lower cpcs get,some traffic in there um but i just want,that video to be playing and hitting,you've been talking to your like,facebook marketing expert or something,so so the,yeah no well this actually came from uh,our tick tock grab,so i'm gonna test it i'm gonna test it,on like a low budget um just to see like,250 a day just some of the ads that have,had like crazy engagement while at the,same time,testing new stuff right so we just,launched another product on top of the,funnel for um for tick tock that we,haven't been able to like kind of crack,on facebook and it's crushing on tape,that's crazy what's the product of you,know so yeah it's our superfoods TikTok Promote tool.,In this video, I'm gonna go over everything you need to know,so that you are able to maximize your reach,,but also your ROI.,(jungle noises),The TikTok Promote feature,is much like the Facebook Boost feature,,except it's much more streamlined,,and it allows you to maximize,on TikTok's incredible algorithm,and everything happening on the platform.,But before you start promoting your video,,you have to first figure out what is your goal.,Do you want more website visits?,Do you want more views?,Or do you want more followers on the platform?,I'll go into this in a few minutes,when we create our first promoted video.,Once we have our goal in mind,,the second thing we need to do is,identify which organic TikTok video,that you actually want to promote.,You wanna look for content that is already,getting a good response from your target audience.,So there are two ways to choose,which video is performing well.,The first way is by going into your analytics,,and we have a whole video all about analytics,in the description, so you can click on that,and learn all about that,,but my favorite way to promote a video,is by literally going to your profile.,So if you're not sure if this is the right video to promote,,click on the video and all the way at the bottom,,you're gonna see the number of views and/or shares.,You click in that space, and that's gonna pull up,all your analytics for that video.,Once you've decided that this,is the video you wanna promote,,go back to the regular video.,In the lower right-hand corner,,click on the three little dots,,and then click on the word "promote.",Once you get to this screen, it's gonna ask you,,"Do you want more video views,,website visits, or followers?",Each of these will help you grow your business,,they just do it in very different ways.,To help you decide which one,you should choose for your business,,here is a quick summary of how each of them will work.,For video views, this is an opportunity,to get more eyeballs on your content,,meaning, more people knowing that you exist.,Because if they know that you exist and are interested,,they may click on your profile,,begin to consume more of your content,,and then either follow you and/or click the link in your bio,and visit your website.,Website visits is very unique,,because once you walk through the prompts with TikTok,,they're gonna give you an opportunity,to put whatever URL you wanna have on the video,,and then when the video is being promoted,,they're gonna see a button that's gonna ask them,to take an action, which will drive them to your website.,And growing your following is important,because once they follow you,,not only will your content show up on the "following" page,,but also, it's more likely to resurface,on the "for you" page,,whereas normally it wouldn't have done that.,For this example, we are gonna promote a video,to get more website visits.,So once I've identified the video,,then I'm going to click on the three little dots,in the lower right-hand corner.,And then a screen is gonna pop up,,and I can click on the word "promote.",Once I do that, it's gonna ask me for the goal.,I'm gonna click on "website visits.",Next, I'm gonna enter the URL,where I want the video to drive them to,,so when you're taking this step,,make sure you send them to a landing page,,that way they have one action to take.,And also, make sure that when you're putting the URL in,,that you put "http.",So then you wanna choose the actual button,that you want them to hit.,"Sign up now," "learn more,",whichever one you decide to choose.,Next, you wanna go ahead and choose your audience.,You can choose the gender, you can choose the age,,and then the type of content that they are interested in.,So on this next screen,,this is where you're going to choose your budget.,Now, depending on if you have an iPhone,or you have an Android, it may look a little bit different.,If you have an Android phone,,you're gonna see actual dollars.,Those of us that have iPhones, you'll see coins.,You have to purchase the amount of coins,you wanna use for the campaign.,Then, you just hit "start promotion.",Once you hit "start promotion,",you'll see on the video where it says,,it's gonna be under review for about 48 hours.,But, note this, it actually happens a lot faster,,and all you have to do is click on your notifications,and TikTok will tell you that your video is now live.,To check the analytics of that video,,what you need to do is is go back into the creator tools,,so just click on the hamburger I am rocking it to take it out I've been,a bit busy lately I've been reordered in,my studio here and so I haven't really,applauded any videos for a little while,I hope now it's all finished idea to,upload at least two a week but in the,meantime I've also been trying to find,out and fix a problem with my galaxy,note 5 and in doing so I discovered that,quite a number of other people have the,same problem with different Android,phones and the problem is quite a simple,and really it's the background image or,live wallpaper now for those who have,Apple phones or what like wallpaper is,wallpaper that actually moves as you can,see here in mine it has an animation on,it now this animation can be a clock as,I have here or it could be a waterfall,or breeze or water on a window or,whatever now normally what you do is you,do a long press on the screen and this,brings up the various choices and you,choose the wallpaper option and then,choose the wallpaper or live wallpaper,that you want now what happens when you,do it on my phone is that you get the,Samsung wallpaper chooser and it doesn't,have the live wallpapers anywhere you,can look through the various menus here,you see that it has the wallpapers it,has themes and it has icons but but no,live wallpapers even if I go into the,various options here there's no way of,getting to the life wallpapers to choose,a live wallpaper as I said this isn't,restricted to something phones this,seems to be happening on quite a number,of phones and probably it's a way of,getting you to use and buy through their,own web stores now you might think well,I can't get it that way so what I'll do,is I'm just going through the settings,menu now if we go to the settings menu,and we scroll down to wallpapers it,brings up exactly the same thing so,you're back to,Stage one really you can't do anything,you've just got the wallpapers of static,wallpapers so what are we going to do,there is no other way of seemingly,getting to the live wallpapers to set,them as your background well there are a,few ways of doing it first of all you,can go into the Play Store as you can,search for a wallpaper manager,unless brings up a few options most of,which though are pretty bad actually,because they're chock-full of,advertisements and it's almost,impossible to use the app because of the,advertisements that are within it so I,don't recommend any of the apps the only,one I might recommend is the wallpaper,or light wallpaper a shortcut it's,called so if I just pull that one up now,unless this 20 at the top of the screen,it just provides an icon in your app,drawer to take you straight to the,wallpapers at the end today's is not,what we want we want the actual stock,Google version so what do we do how do,we do this because even though the live,wallpaper picker is active in the,Android system if you go into the apps,you find it there you'll find it's,running you can't actually access it so,what should we do well if we go back,into a Play Store game and this time,search for wallpaper we find the actual,Google app and if we install this as I,have already done we can just go into,our app drawer and when we go to the app,itself it brings up the stock Android,wallpaper picker and as you see you can,choose from your photographs you can,choose from the various Android stock,photographs and you can at last,choose the live wallpapers miss several,ways of doing this if you press the,bottom icon here you go to the old stock,image chooser for your background you,can choose a still image all indeed the,live wallpaper now if you press this one,here you just get the Samsung image go,down and press these ones you get to the,Android still images,but if you come again and press press,this one can choose your life on paper,and adjust its settings and so on from,here why this is a problem I don't know,I don't know why it's been removed or,disabled in Android for so many people,but just by installing the Google,wallpaper ah its solve the problem I,hope this has been of use to you and,again thank you for watching
