campaigns,with the information we have gathered,from the analysis we have developed,universal creative best practice guides,shoot high-res,when it comes to the quality of creative,we advise you to use creative with a,minimum of 720 pixel resolution,when advertisers use creative with a,minimum of 720 pixels we have found that,there's a 312 percent left in,conversions compared to creatives below,that 720 res,go big full screen,we highly recommend you use a 9 by 16,aspect ratio to ensure you maximize the,surface area of any device for maximum,creative performance,assets that use 9x16 aspect ratio had a,91 conversion lift compared to those,with other aspect ratios such as the,16x9,rally them to act we found by adding in,a clear cta within the creative there is,a 152 lifting conversion so make sure,you put in that clear cta for your,creatives,make some noise,include audio of any type to your,creatives the more relevant sounds you,use the better it'll be for example,let's say you're selling some healthy,homemade freeze-dried snacks adding in,the crunch sound of the snack would be,useful or like a sound to complement the,overall creatives will be super handy as,well,by adding in sound we found that there,was a 16 lift in impressions compared to,assets with no sound elements,keep it short and sweet,on average we found if the video length,ranges between 21 to 34 seconds it,helped drive a two percent lift in,impressions and a whopping 280 percent,lift in conversion,the shorter and catchier you make your,creatives the better the overall,performance will be,here is a quick little summary of the,universal creative elements outlined,all you need to do is remember these,five universal tips and tricks,create a resolution minimum of 720 pixel,resolution,ensure you embrace the power of sound,and have sound elements,have a clear cta within the creative to,prompt the user to take action,and keep your videos short and sweet,between 21 to 34 seconds,and finally have your creative in a,vertical format so the 9x16 to maximize,your device screen,now i'd like to take you through some,more fun and exciting creative best,practices for our ecommerce advertisers,and market,mix up your creatives,we found that there is a 38 lift in,conversion when advertisers used a,variety of different scenes in their,assets compared to a continuous shot,where products were showcased,having elements of transitions give the,creative a more exciting fun effect,which will keep your users more engaged,leading to a better campaign outcome,get them to act,use closed captions through an on-screen,text that is clearly displayed with an,offer or a cta,we found advertisers to do this had a 16,lift in impressions and an 80 lift in,the conversions for the campaigns,voiceover and an offer winning i have made,9471,basically in the last two months of,being on etsy so i started my etsy shop,back in august 2021 and the reason why i,honestly just came across a youtube,video of a girl speaking about how to,make ten thousand dollars on youtube,naturally you know clickbait i'm gonna,click on that obviously and one of the,things she mentioned in the in that,video was resume templates and i was,thinking like you could sell resume,templates online and there's a market,for that i didn't know if a lot of,people actually bought these things and,so i went on to the internet i there's,an app called marmalade that's actually,what i used to to validate the search,volumes for this on etsy rest my,templates were in demand i didn't,realize how much resume templates were,selling i didn't realize how much people,were looking for resume templates resume,templates was actually something that,i've created myself like i've actually,made resume templates to apply for jobs,and i've actually found success with,that product this was a product that i,used you know to get jobs to get,interviews and i've had friends come up,to me and ask can you update my resume,can you make my resume look a little,better i just need your help overall,seeing that video made me realize i had,this already made and so i looked at you,know just different etsy shops i looked,at how they formatted it i looked at how,they worded it the pictures they used,and so yeah that's when i launched my,etsy shop basically back in august 2021,i think it was august 13th to be exact,why resume templates it's something i,believed in i wanted to sell a product,that i've used personally something that,i've found proven success in and like,others have found proven success in so i,didn't want to sell something i didn't,try like digital planners you know those,are selling pretty hot but that's,ultimately why i went with resume,templates so how long did it take for me,to get my first real sale and by real,sale i mean not my friends not my family,members someone organic on the internet,and so i opened the shop on,august 13 2021 and it wasn't until,august 18th that's when i got my first,actual sale on etsy and the feeling of,getting that first sale you know it's,it's tough to describe like it just,opens your eyes to like the potential,something has you know someone was out,there looking at what you created and so,i was like wow i uh i made a resume,template that someone actually wanted to,pay me money for from august 13th so,when i first opened it up until the end,of november i was sitting at maybe,60 sales if i'm being generous which is,you know it's obviously free not free,but it's passive 60 sales times i was,selling at about 10 canadian so 600,bucks four months i was able to make 600,passively and that was it but that's,what my store looked like for the first,four months you know first four months,was so bad and i knew nothing about etsy,marketing so fast forward from august up,until the end of november i think it was,beginning december i decided to make a,tick tock video just showcasing this,resume template that i used zero,expectations i just wanted to share hey,guys this is the template i used to get,a job and here's why it's so great you,know like it wasn't like a salesy video,it's literally just me talking about,what i genuinely use to get jobs that,video i There's another one called holiday covers, never zero.,Not sure what that is, but let's look into any one of them.,Let's check out morph,,and I can see that this hashtag has 42 million views.,So let's check out this Ariana morph and just to get an idea,,So it's pretty straight forward.,There's obviously a feature built into TikTok called morph that allows you to,mesh your photos together. So this may not really be an explicit,,you know, invitation to your business,,but it just might show your evolution as a human.,Maybe you can throw a few business-y pictures in there,,but really the point of this one is just to jump on the trending hashtags so,that maybe your TikTok goes viral. I, of course,,jumped on one of these trending hashtags, and this is the TikTok I made.,The fifth TikTok you can make for your business is just a fun dance video,because let's be honest,,TikTok is heavily about the entertainment and if you're really going to be a,TikTok user, you should be creating TikToks that are just for fun.,They can't all be about business.,So if you're ever looking for dance inspo just head to the home on your TikTok,app and you're going to see so many trending dance videos and hopefully one of,them inspires you.,I've seen so many from a solo dance performance to a partner dance performance.,Some of mine are called ride it and coincidance and I'm going to show you an,example of that one right now.,And of course I can't finish this video about TikTok without creating my own,funny dance video on TikTok. tick-tock to get ideas,now this,is a new technique that i've been,utilizing and i wanted to be able to,share with you how you can actually,utilize tick-tock,without the fancy or weird dancing i,don't know about you but those kind of,movements,make me really uncomfortable but i'm,going to be showing you how you can be,able to use tick-tock,without the silly moves without the the,the all the fancy production without any,of that,you're gonna be able to see why by the,end of this video there's,just so much opportunity on tick tock,right now not by posting the videos,but by getting ideas and creatives from,tik tok,and how you can extract that and utilize,that in your market,even if you could be in a serious market,even if you could be in,plastic surgery you could be in real,estate by the end of this video you're,going to be able to see how you can,utilize tick-tock,to get one of the best most compelling,viral video ideas,that can be utilized in your ads and i'm,gonna be showing you going on tick tock to see,different,music videos that is viral so what does,that mean it means that i would go on,tick tock,to look at videos that's being served to,me on my,for you page okay the for you page is,like the instagram explorer page it's,like the facebook watch,it's the the algorithm feeding you what,they think,you would be interested in what i would,recommend if you're not active on tick,tock,just follow a bunch of people in your,market in industry and,because of that tick tock will start to,see what it is that you like,and they'll try to serve you more of the,stuff based on what they think you like,one thing that i realized made it good,is that it gives us,a framework to see what,is converting and what works and you,will see,that on tick tock there are a lot of,people in serious markets,plastic surgeons chiropractors,that is crushing it on tick-tock not by,doing,stupid dance moves but by creating,content,that is relevant to their market but,my my goal for you guys here is to help,you,walk away from today's session with,one great ad utilizing the framework,that i'm literally using right now based,on,like literally how i spent my day today,okay so choose your character is where,you know it's got a lot of different,themes to it it could be like different,different bartenders different work from,home moms,different ways to wear your mask but the,theme of it,and based on the song it sounds like you,know choose your character so,the market that i'm in it's like you,know choose your marketing guru right,choose your,the style that that resonates with you,okay so this is something that i've been,working on,a lot which is basically not not about,creating videos on tick tock,but rather use utilizing tick-tock,music and themes that is,proven to be viral and shareable and,engaging,and utilizing that as an ad,so how can i connect it to my offer so,if the video is,on choose your guru types i'm gonna,think about what's the story because,that this video is gonna be posted on,facebook when people are scrolling,this is what stops the school this is a,great scroll stopper,but on its own it's not gonna make money,so how can it make money it can make,money,if we can link it with the offer well so,how can we,link this to the offer by having a story,so imagine if somebody is scrolling on,facebook,and they're scrolling scrolling,scrolling and all of a sudden they see,that ad,which is this 15 second choose your guru,video so,it's a great pattern interrupt they're,watching this video,they're engaged but it doesn't mean,anything so now what i need to do next,is to think about what's the right up,and what's the story that connects to,this hook,so for example if the hook is having,different type of gurus,the story would be ultimately there are,a lot of different,teachers and gurus and marketers out,there with different personality types,and you gotta find a method that,resonates with who you are your,personality,and double down on that okay so so that,could be the story,right we all have our own unique way,that could be polarizing,that could be eccentric that could be,weird that could be funny,so that's a story right many different,type of guru types and,i would love to be able to help you tell,that story,that angle in a unique way that,fits your character and if you would,love to be able to do this,in a way that is
