tutorial for businesses.,TikTok has now over one
billion monthly active users,as of January, 2022.,160 million videos are watched,in an internet minute on the platform,and it's the most popular mobile app,downloaded in 2020 and 2021.,If you want to leverage that platform,,but don't want to spend
all that time and energy,figuring out an organic growth strategy,,TikTok ads may be a great alternative.,Today, I'm going to show
you what you need to do,in order to run successful
paid ads on TikTok.,Step one, create and
install a TikTok Pixel.,Similar to Facebook ads,or Google ads and other ad platforms,,when you install a pixel, that allows you,to understand the user's
behavior on your website.,That in turn will allow
you to segment those users,in cohorts that you want
to target with other ads.,So let's say someone visits your website,,goes through the checkout process,,and doesn't complete their purchase.,You'll be able to retarget that person,with another ad and
that'll help you increase,the number of conversions you get,,because when they're on
TikTok, they'll see it, boom,,you can start making them convert.,And here's a trick.,Let's say you're selling
a product or a service.,When you do that remarketing ad on TikTok,,you can show a video of what
it's like to be a customer,or use your product or service.,That'll get more people to convert.,Step two, start with a very
broad audience segmentation.,Don't target a specific
gender or age group.,Let TikTok run your ads
to a broad user group,and let it optimize and deliver
so they can find out later,which audience are the most responsive.,You should run your ads,and wait some time for
user data to come in,so that you can optimize around the data,so you can see what's
working for your campaigns,versus just jumping the gun.,Step three, use as placement only TikTok.,Don't waste your time
and money advertising,on other platforms that TikTok offers.,The real value is really on
TikTok as a platform itself.,Step four, make sure to target
only one interest at a time.,When you're starting, you
don't want to mix up things,that have too many interests,being targeted at the same time.,If you stack different interests,,you won't be able to
understand which interests,are creating the best results.,It's better to target only
one interest at a time,so you can clearly
identify which interests,are the most profitable for you campaign,and then expand from there.,Step five, ideally, start with,a minimum budget of $50 a day.,This will allow TikTok
to run more experiments,with your ads and show them more audiences,in order to optimize
your ad delivery faster.,Step six, cap your costs per conversion.,Make sure that it's at
least at breakeven point,and that'll allow you to run ads,and spend money and not lose it.,Step seven, use TikTok's ad platform.,They'll show you all
the top performing ads,on their platform so that you can learn,what's working for other people,and how you can model after

what is going on guys noah brewer here,back again with another video and today,we're going to be talking about how to,fix inconsistencies inside of your,tiktok ads account so this isn't going,to be like a fancy screen share or,anything like that i'm literally just,going to be speaking about my,experiences with tick tock ads so far,how i've been able to combat the super,brutal inconsistencies with the platform,and i'm going to be giving you some,specific things that you can start,focusing on to start getting more,consistent results with your tick tock,ads so one thing that you need to,understand is one of the biggest reasons,that people fail when they start getting,into tick tock ads is because they treat,it like it's similar to facebook ads and,it is completely different the truth is,is that if facebook is a seven out of,ten in terms of pixel optimization then,tick tock ads is a three out of ten,they're completely different and yes i,mean that the tick tock ads pixel,optimization is much much worse than,that of facebook's and to get a couple,things clear before we move forward when,i say pixel i'm talking about the actual,data collection and storage of data on,the platform aka what tic toc is keeping,track of for their users and then when i,say optimization it's basically how tick,tock utilizes that data to help you hit,your goals so if you're optimizing for,complete payment tick doc is going to,use the pixel data that they have on,their users to try and optimize your ads,to show your ads to people who are most,likely to complete a payment through,your website one thing i will say is,that facebook pixel is literally like a,thousand times smarter and more,experienced and also the optimization is,like a thousand times better than that,of tick tock ads and it's way more,accurate this means that facebook has,way more information on their users and,how they interact with different ads and,different platforms then take talk has,and probably ever will if i'm being,completely honest unless tiktok,completely transitions to a more social,based platform with friends and messages,and it starts becoming used in that way,i think there's a slight chance that,tick tock ads will ever reach the level,of pixel and optimization that facebook,ads have just simply because facebook,has had compounding data collection and,optimization experience with their,algorithm over like the last 10 to 15,years which is absolutely ridiculous and,take talk is literally like two years in,and it's simply just unrealistic to,expect the tick tock pixel and the,algorithm to be able to optimize as good,as facebook does so the reason i'm,saying this is because you cannot treat,tick tock ads like you treated facebook,ads facebook ads was almost 100 about,gaming the algorithm and tricking the,pixel into doing certain things and,optimizing a certain way and i was,really really good at that so when i got,into tick tock ads i was kind of getting,confused like i did certain things and i,didn't see certain results and we were,seeing like a lot of ups and downs which,is very common on the tiktok platform,like i'm not some god that just has you,know perfectly flat sales from tick tock,ads but one thing you need to understand,is that in order to promote consistency,on the tick tock platform you have to,put out consistent actions and do a few,other things that will be going over in,this video it's not like facebook where,you can just implement a really good ad,strategy and basically get the pixel to,work for you you really have to work for,tick tock it's kind of the other way,around so one thing that i want to say,is that tic toc ads seem completely,random in their optimization this means,that while facebook was actively looking,for people that are most likely to,purchase your product or showing your,ads to the people you know based on the,data points that they've collected who,have already purchased your products,they kind of optimize to try to make,your ads perform better whereas tick,tock i feel like is more angling on the,side of just show your ads to as many,people as possible and cross their,fingers and hope that people purchase,and yes they may be using some data,points such as interests or things that,they like or the friends that they have,or whatever however we know that it's,nowhere near as accurate and i feel like,tiktok is using more of a shotgun,approach as opposed to a super optimized,you know algorithmic approach that,facebook took and i think they actually,are doing this like i think the results,are pretty much completely random like,in terms of who they're showing your ads,to i'm sure like i said there's a little,bit of optimization going on there but,who really knows and based on what i'm,seeing there's not much optimization,because i have seen zero evidence that,the more purchases you have the better,your ads perform honestly i've seen more,evidence leaning towards the fact that,the less purchases you have the better,your ads perform i know
