reviews,reviews are such an important part of,the online shopping process for,customers they use the reviews in order,to make the right decision in fact the,majority of people actually read reviews,before buying a product and i know that,i almost never buy a product unless,there's a review you want to make sure,that your etsy reviews can move over to,either your shopify or your wix site,seamlessly so let's just go over why you,would want to move from etsy to shopify,or etsy to wix now there's already a,video that i posted on the farah channel,about nine reasons why you should,consider moving from etsy to shopify and,you can go ahead and you can take a look,at it there,but some of the main reasons are that,you don't own your customer data shopify,and even wix has better e-commerce,capabilities and you can also add a,variety of different payment gateways,and apps when you have your own site now,let's go through the steps on how you,can export your reviews from etsy and,bring them into shopify or bring them,into wigs the first thing that you have,to do,if you have a shopify or a wix store is,go over to the app store or the wix app,marketplace and download farah reviews,the next thing that you are going to,have to do is you're going to have to,export a csv file from etsy that has,your reviews and i will show you exactly,where to get that so you have to log,into your etsy account and go to,settings and then you go to options,and once you're in,options you'll be able to open the,download data tab and you scroll down,and then you click on the download your,reviews button so once you complete this,step you'll get a,reviews.json file and you're going to,need those for the next step once you're,in thera you can import your etsy,reviews to your online store so whether,or not you have a shopify or a wix store,this is going to be the same step and,you can take that file that you just got,and you can put that into fara and it,will help show those reviews on your,site,so what you do is you click uh you go to,your fair admin and you go to content,and then you go to reviews and you click,on the three dots that are on the top,right and then you choose import reviews,then you're going to select etsy,and you're going to upload the file that,you downloaded the json file and once,that's uploaded you're going to get a,success pop-up and that's basically it,it's super easy to import your etsy,reviews and show them on your online,store with thera your etsy reviews will,come in as store reviews and you can,assign products to them if you want to,but even just having these store reviews,on your site is going to help build,trust with your shoppers and it's going,to help you improve your conversion rate,so here's an example of the etsy review,that i imported onto my store i've been,using um shopify i left etsy a long time,ago uh in 2017 and i've been using,shopify,around since then so this is what the,review will look like when it shows up,on your site and here's some important,things to keep in mind about your etsy,reviews so again they come up they come,in as store reviews but they can be,changed and all of your reviews are,verified since you imported them from,etsy they're going to show up as,verified on your site and that's really,important so that your customers know,that you haven't added fake reviews and,these are genuine reviews from your site,and they'll have a little etsy badge to,show that they were imported from etsy,the other thing is when you use fara to,import your reviews into your site you,get a lot of,really great features that you couldn't,get with etsy or some other apps so you,can group all of your product reviews,you can customize the way that your,widgets show up on your site so you can,change things like font you can change,the star color you can change a bunch of,things so that it looks beautiful on,your site and you can also get a lot,more reviews with vera so when you have,farah you can set up an email campaign,and it will ask the customers who,purchased from your store to leave a,review and you can even offer incentives,like five or ten percent off or a,gift with
