hey guys jonah here from ecomax seo if,you haven't subscribed to our youtube,channel yet make sure you hit the,subscribe button below or head on over,to our free private facebook group where,there's plenty of great discussion on,going on over there about shopify seo,now we've got some,exciting news today for my small,business and our team,we have partnered with deepcrawl as an,agency partner now if you haven't heard,of deep crawl before it's the market,leader or one of the market leaders in,uh crawling platforms for websites so,any type of website and for us obviously,ecom,e-commerce tools and shopify stores are,important,so up until this point we've been using,uh,desktop platforms so screaming frog is,one of the ones we use all the time,and it's a really great bit of software,where you can,crawl your site and mirror the google,bot or emulate the google bot,and and other other bots as well,and it they obviously can crawl your,site and then you can,identify any issues things like broken,links um,no index pages canonical problems uh,look at all your,seo meta so your header tags etc and,identify potential problems and then,also,uh you can look at where there's crawl,budget issues so when the google bots,coming through and and,your your crawl budget is not optimized,and you're wasting a lot of budget and,on very large sites,this can become a bit of a problem so as,we've taken on larger and larger,uh shopify seo clients that have got,many more products and many more urls,some of them are older sites which have,had many different people working on,them,there's a a myriad of issues that are,really difficult to identify if you're,doing it manually and then also if using,a,bit of software such as screaming frog,like i said it's a great bit of software,but once you get to,large sites it's very resource heavy,and can take a long time and the other,thing is,screaming frog does have some reporting,but,the tool such as deep crawl allows you,to report both,for your team and then your clients as,well and,pull it into like a google data studio,report,and there's plenty of templates you can,use so that's why we've decided to go,with deep crawl,if i just click on over to ecommerce,solutions here,and it just gives you if you want to,work through it it just gives you a bit,of an idea,what sort of problems you can find and,and the solutions that are available to,you,for large e-commerce stores now as we've,been going through the onboarding,process,um you know the couple of sites that i,thought and their own sites and they're,not large they've they've got sort of,five or six hundred,urls um and that's not large in the,scheme of things when you get to the,enterprise level,that i thought were pretty pretty tight,and were optimized pretty well from a,technical point of view,but i was amazed at some of the issues,we found uh once we ran those deep crawl,crawls um and and some of the issues,that came back so,i'm pretty excited about the,possibilities with this and how we can,really look at,optimizing shopify stores from a,technical point of view,so this is just a bit of an example this,is in the platform itself,so this site we knew had lots of issues,and you can see here,this is just some of the the initial,issues it finds for you so broken links,obvious ones,broken pages um you've got your amp,issues,if you've got too many links going in or,out of pages,um a heap of a heap of different things,you can find,so and then if you look at the left-hand,side here you've got all these different,different options,look at all your indexations and your,canonical issues it actually goes now,into content,and you've got all your titles and,descriptions and everything else you,need in there,um you can it actually hooks up with the,api for majestic so you can identify,your links and you can also,it also integrates with google search,console and google analytics so you,bring in all the data,it aggregates that data and then you've,got so many different features and ways,you can actually,identify issues within a site so just,wanted to mention that today,we're going for the onboarding process,at the moment as i mentioned,will be up and running pretty soon so if,anyone's got,is looking at an opportunity to,work with an agency who who can run deep,crawl and actually especially for large,sites and enterprise sites,that believe they've got issues we can,certainly help,okay thanks we'll see you next video
