what's going on everyone it's jamie here,from shopify masterclass today we'll be,going over how you can add blog images,in just under 30 seconds to use shopify,blog posts that's going to make your,blog post much more appealing to the,reader it's going to add that visual,component here you can add images maybe,show your products emphasize what you're,talking about just make it more,interesting for the reader here so we're,going to go over how you can do that in,this video before i dive into it i just,want to mention our sponsor profit calc,the one-click profit calculator app,available on the shopify app store can,allow you to skip those spreadsheets and,get back to growing your business it,comes with a 15 day free trial and,there's gonna be a link in the,description to get access to that trial,there let's dive into it here i'm on the,home page of my test shopify store and,to get access to the blog post i simply,have to go to the online store tab on,the left followed by the blog post tab,here and i'm going to create a blog post,to show you how you can add these images,in so we're going to go over how you can,add the featured image and the inline,image i'm gonna give this blog post here,a title random post and i'm gonna copy,and paste some random text here just to,fill it up a little bit so let's say i,want to add an image inline so it's,gonna show up with the text so all i,have to do is go to this insert image,button to show up with my already,uploaded images there's also the ability,to select your product images from your,store or if you have a url with an image,you can paste that in there but i'm just,going to go here and select this image,of a beach i'm going to select it the,alt text is going to be description of,the image this is going to be for google,so i can understand what your image is,about i'm going to put beach here then,there's also different sizes you can,select it's going to be the pixel width,and height i'm just going to leave it at,480 here we can select different sizes,depending on the product image that is,uploaded along with how you want it to,look i'm going to click insert image,here and just like that the image is,going to be uploaded into my blog post,there's also further editing options you,can do on how it's positioned so if you,double click the image here it's going,to give you the ability to edit that,image size again as well as add spacing,so it's going to be how many pixels you,want it to be from the top left right or,bottom currently they're all going to,set at zero i'm going to leave them at,zero here rather i'm going to set the,alignment to center we're just going to,center that image here i think it's,going to look a little nicer on the blog,post once i click edit image it's going,to upload there and now my inline image,is centered nicely on my blog post now,for the featured image this is going to,be what's shown up if you for say have,all your blog posts aggregated on one,page the featured image is going to,represent that now to add it you simply,hit upload here i'm just going to upload,the same image just for ease there and,that's going to be the featured image,and so once this is done all you have to,do is click save and your images are,going to be uploaded in just a few,seconds and if we want to preview it,here there is a preview button we can,see our image looks nice on this random,post here so overall this concludes the,video on blog images in just under 30,seconds let me know in the comments if,you have any questions about this i,would love it if you hit that like and,subscribe button below as well if you,enjoyed the video also i want to mention,profit calc again the one click profit,calculator app available on the shopify,app store comes with a 15 day free trial,and there's a link in the description,below to test drive everything out for,yourself so this concludes the video,thank you so much for watching and i'll,see you in the next one,you
