So this may not really be an explicit,,you know, invitation to your business,,but it just might show your evolution as a human.,Maybe you can throw a few business-y pictures in there,,but really the point of this one is just to jump on the trending hashtags so,that maybe your TikTok goes viral. different is of,course the face to face with people you,know you're not working in a retail,setting where you have that person right,you know at a counter to work with,instead you're on the phone with them,but ultimately it's the same,conversations it's the same general idea,of being able to help a person to a,common goal or you know talk them,through a certain situation things like,that so i do feel like there's a lot of,similarities while also i'm learning a,lot more about how to communicate with,people and just overall on the phone,learning more about everyone that i talk,to so and maybe you've answered this is,always question number two and i try to,ask some of the same questions of each,one of our guests to give everybody that,perspective so what would you say is the,best part of the sourcing so you're,really doing sourcing and recruiting,from my perspective but yeah but what do,you what do you think is the best part,of what you do and what is the biggest,challenge of what you do i would say the,best part of what i do honestly is the,conversations i get to have with people,it's just,knowing that i'm giving them an,opportunity to find the right job and,the right fit for them it's not just,about finding the right you know,candidate for a client it's about,finding the right fit for that candidate,and moving them from a situation where,maybe they're in like a toxic work,environment or they're having some kind,of struggle and they really need that,change at this time and they're able to,go into a new role a new environment a,more positive environment is really My TikTok Interview Experience in Singapore (and why I accepted their offer)

today's video is going to be a little,different,i want to share with you about an,experience i had recently,and i hope that it will be useful to you,a couple of weeks ago i was on linkedin,searching for a new job,and then i came across this role that,was posted by ticktop,talent acquisition specialist,i wasn't too sure if i wanted to join a,china-based company due to several,factors,one,cultural differences as i'm currently,working in a local company,and two,stability of operations as they had just,set up their office in singapore despite,these factors i also knew that i wanted,to,one work in a regional role,two,do tech recruitment,and three to find a job in the internet,industry,so i applied for the job,anyway,besides i found on glassdoor that they,paid pretty good money,about a week later i received a whatsapp,message from their recruitment,coordinator in china she scheduled the,interview with me over whatsapp and i,attended the first round of interview,the interviewer was a talent acquisition,lead based in singapore many of the,questions she asked were situational,testing for my problem solving skills,examples would be,if you had to hire 100 developers in one,year what are some of the metrics you,will use,if at the end of one year you have only,managed to hire 30 of your recruitment,targets what will you do next,what are some sourcing avenues you use,to higher niche positions,how will you roll out a staff referral,program,if your quantity or referral,applications are too high what will you,do to streamline the search to improve,the quality of applications,after the first interview,they contacted me again in about two,days,to arrange a second interview but the,thing is,they wanted to offer me a 12-month,contract role instead if i were to pass,the second interview,usually when companies do this,the likely explanation is that they did,not find my experience good enough for,their permanent recruiter role and they,have some doubts about hiring me for,that position,by offering a contract they can observe,my performance for a year,before converting me to a permanent role,this is a great solution for companies,if they have a candidate they are unsure,of,but they believe have potential to be,groomed,i was quite hesitant to say yes to the,contract role mainly because i didn't,want to leave my comfy government job,for something so unstable,but i actually went ahead with the,second interview in the end as i wanted,to find out more about the potential,renumeration they can offer,the second interview was pretty much the,same as the first and they asked similar,questions,a couple of days later i received,another message from their recruitment,coordinator in china saying they wanted,to offer me i waited two days for them,to get back to me and then to my,nightmare they wanted to arrange me for,a third interview with another one of,their talent acquisition lead they told,me the reason is that they have an,overwhelming number of candidates for,this role and we need one more round of,interview to decide,at the end all three interviews i,attended had lasted around 50 minutes,each,they were really thorough in their,questioning,one week later i received a phone call,from their partner recruitment agency,offering me the role,it was a one-year contract with plans to,convert me full time at the end of it,the salary it was a 20,increment from what i was currently,getting,i quickly jotted down the pros and cons,of taking up the row,the cons,it was a contract rule therefore dropped,instability,the benefits such as annual leave and,medical were way less than what i was,currently getting,i knew that this role would be a lot,harder and more hectic as the company,was expanding really quickly in,singapore,but what eventually led me to accept the,job and leave my permanent position,would be,one my boss said tick-tock she was,patient and kind throughout the process,when i voiced out my concerns regarding,it being a contract role and i'm pretty,confident that i would have a lot to,learn from her,number two it's an amazing opportunity,for me to step into the internet,industry,many of the fan companies i applied to,previously were not open to my,background as i did not have the,experience they wanted,and three of course the high salary,increment,it was a really hard decision for me,but eventually i decided that the pros,did outweigh the cons and i knew that it,was a step closer to achieving my career,goals,changing jobs is never an easy decision,to make,lay down your pros and cons like i did,and focus on your personal goals for,your career as cliche as it sounds ask,yourself where do you see yourself in 5,or 10 years time,overall i had an extremely pleasant,interview experience with tiktok and i,hope that this video will help you to,make your decision if you're currently,in a dilemma about changing jobs,you

million views, so it's pretty large.,And if you click on that hashtag,,you'll be able to see all of the videos that have used it.,So, that's how you search,for different things within TikTok.,You can do a similar thing for TikTok recruiting.,So, you can see there are a couple of different,related hashtags here.,If you head over to top,,then you'll be able to see the different videos,that mentioned TikTok recruiting.,(upbeat music),And you can also find specific videos,that talk about TikTok recruiting.,So, the Top tab will kind of compile everything:,the videos, the sounds, the hashtags,,everything will be in one spot,,and then you'll be able to dive deeper,using the Users, Videos, Sounds, and Hashtags tools.,And then you can take the information,that you find out from your searching here,and bring it on over to Biteable,where you'll be able to make your TikTok recruiting video,or your TikTok video resume,,which is what I'll teach you how to do next.,So, here we are on the Biteable homepage.,I'm going to start by going ahead,and logging into my account.,If you don't have a Biteable account yet, that's all right,,you'll be prompted to create one at this step.,Next, I'm just going to search through our templates.,And this time, I'm going to look for a resume template.,As you can see, we've got,a number of different resume templates to choose from.,To preview any of these videos,,just hold your mouse over that thumbnail,,and you'll get to see a little bit,of what that template looks like.,Now, I'm going to search for our recruiting templates.,As you can see, we have entirely different templates,meant for recruiting.,And once you've found what you've liked,,just go ahead and click Edit video now.,This is where you'll be able to customize,your Biteable video.,I'm going to start by changing the video shape to 9:16,,so it works on TikTok.,All TikTok videos are in 9:16 format.,First step, I'm going to go ahead,and stretch out my logo here,,make it centered on my scene.,And then you can go ahead and upload the logo,for your business.,I'll show you an example using the Biteable logo here.,And then we're going to jump ahead into the next scene.,I'm going to make this animation,fit a little bit nicer on the scene,,so I'll shrink it down to 50%,and then here is where I'll start adding the information,about the role that I'm recruiting for.,So, as you can see, to remove any of those text boxes,,it's as simple as clicking the trash can,and it will be deleted.,So now, we've got a nice "We're hiring" animation,and on this next scene, I'm going to do the same thing,,make that animation just a bit smaller,and then I'll move it around,to where I want it to be on my scene.,And then this is where I'm going to put,a bit more information about the role that I'm hiring for.,So, in this case, it's a social media manager,and TikTok is the perfect spot,to recruit for a social media manager.,And then right below the job title,,I'm just going to put a quick blurb,about what I'm looking for in a candidate.,And then we'll just make sure,everything is centered and lined up.,Then, we're going to jump ahead into this next scene,and I'm actually going to remove a few scenes here,because I'm only hiring for one role at the time.,So, we've just quickly deleted three scenes,and now, I'm going to add a bit more information,about the company that these candidates will be joining.,This is where you can add different perks,if you have a fun office, maybe a remote work policy,,anything that you'd like to add in here,that would be - How to run TikTok ads in 2022.,This is a TikTok advertising tutorial for businesses.,TikTok has now over one billion monthly active users,as of January, 2022.,160 million videos are watched,in an internet minute on the platform,and it's the most popular mobile app,downloaded in 2020 and 2021.,If you want to leverage that platform,,but don't want to spend all that time and energy,figuring out an organic growth strategy,,TikTok ads may be a great alternative.,Today, I'm going to show you what you need to do,in order to run successful paid ads on TikTok.,Step one, create and install a TikTok Pixel.,Similar to Facebook ads,or Google ads and other ad platforms,,when you install a pixel, that allows you,to understand the user's behavior on your website.,That in turn will allow you to segment those users,in cohorts that you want to target with other ads.,So let's say someone visits your website,,goes through the checkout process,,and doesn't complete their purchase.,You'll be able to retarget that person,with another ad and that'll help you increase,the number of conversions you get,,because when they're on TikTok, they'll see it, boom,,you can start making them convert.,And here's a trick.,Let's say you're selling a product or a service.,When you do that remarketing ad on TikTok,,you can show a video of what it's like to be a customer,or use your product or service.,That'll get more people to convert.,Step two, start with a very broad audience segmentation.,Don't target a specific gender or age group.,Let TikTok run your ads to a broad user group,and let it optimize and deliver so they can find out later,which audience are the most responsive.,You should run your ads,and wait some time for user data to come in,so that you can optimize around the data,so you can see what's working for your campaigns,versus just jumping the gun.,Step three, use as placement only TikTok.,Don't waste your time and money advertising,on other platforms that TikTok offers.,The real value is really on TikTok as a platform itself.,Step four, make sure to target only one interest at a time.,When you're starting, you don't want to mix up things,that have too many interests,being targeted at the same time.,If you stack different interests,,you won't be able to understand which interests,are creating the best results.,It's better to target only one interest at a time,so you can clearly identify which interests,are the most profitable for you campaign,and then expand from there.,Step five, ideally, start with,a minimum budget of $50 a day.,This will allow TikTok to run more experiments,with your ads and show them more audiences,in order to optimize your ad delivery faster.,Step six, cap your costs per conversion.,Make sure that it's at least at breakeven point,and that'll allow you to run ads,and spend money and not lose it.,Step seven, use TikTok's ad platform.,They'll show you all the top performing ads,on their platform so that you can learn,what's working for other people,and how you can model after those ads in your own business.,That'll reduce the risk.,Now, if you need help with your TikTok ads,,check out my ad agency, NP Digital, we'll be helpin',with TikTok and all the social platforms out there,,even performance marketing.,Or if you just have any questions on TikTok,,whether it's paid or organic, leave a comment below.,I'm here to help.
