what is good guys my name is Harry and,in today's video I'm going to be,breaking down exactly how I run Dynamic,product ads for clothing brands I talk a,lot in my videos about um running,Dynamic product ads for our clients but,I've never actually created a video on,how I create them how to run them and,the best practices behind it so I,thought I'd best do that so what are,Dynamic product ads Dynamic product ads,is a feature on Facebook that allows you,to retarget users that have been to your,website with the exact product they have,me looking at it's a very powerful tool,on Facebook ads as it makes your ads,hyper personalized and the more,personalized your ads are the higher,return on ad spend you will see and,they're extremely profitable for,clothing brands purely at the base is,that clothing brands normally have a,wide selection of products and when,people go to your store they normally,browse for a lot of different things if,you look at any big clothing brand,including Balenciaga who only run,Dynamic product ads they all use this,feature it's very hard as a clothing,brand to constantly be retargeting,people with individual products so you,just basically let Facebook do all the,work if you're a big clothing brand this,strategy that I'm just about to show you,should increase your sales dramatically,now you can't scale this strategy as it,is retargeting but it will make your ads,much more profitable than they already,are typically for my clients I see,anywhere between five and six to seven,extraternal ad spend or dynamic product,ads so super powerful and I'm going to,jump into my computer right now and show,you how to set them up cool so here we,are in the Facebook ads manager now,before I run through how we set up the,actual campaign you're going to have to,connect your Shopify store your website,to Facebook on the back end which I'll,quickly run through and show you where,to connect it so if you just head to all,tools and then you go to business,settings and then what you want to go,down to is data sources and then go,catalogs now once you've got to cast,catalogs what you want to do is go to,add and then you create new catalog and,then you go to create catalog name and,you connect that it's very easy to set,up on Shopify and a lot of time it does,automatically,um but if you need any more help just,type it into YouTube and a load of,videos will come up on connecting the,catalog so you can see there these are,two DPA campaigns these are very recent,so they haven't got a huge amount of,data but you can see live action you see,it's generated 103 purchases and it's,generated,7794 in Revenue at Forex return on ad,spend and I literally do not touch these,so these are just there they're,automated and it just shows you how,effective they really are so what you're,going to want to do is press create in,your ad account and then you're going to,want to press sales and then press,continue and then what you what you want,to press is manual sales campaign that's,just I don't know why Facebook,always do that and then once you have,created the new campaign you want to,obviously name it so,normally iPad PDM my company name and,then yay version is anything you want,really but I would just have VPN here to,be honest and then what you want to do,is switch on catalog so your catalog,should come up here the one you,installed earlier,um if not just pick the right catalog or,just press edit catalog you also want to,turn this off you don't want it on,campaign budget optimization you want on,ad set level,um because you'll probably have multiple,ad sets within this campaign cool so,your product set,um you can go to the Commerce manager,the catalog manager in Facebook which is,right here Commerce manager and on that,Commerce manager basically you'll find,um a way to create new sets so typically,I'll just leave it on all products so,put all your products into one set if,this isn't working out well for you what,I typically do then is create different,sets so what sometimes happens with,Facebook when they're running dpas is,sometimes they don't serve up your best,seller and a lot of the time eighty,percent of your sales will probably come,from um 20 of your products so a very,small amount of your products so if your,dpas aren't working chances are that's,the problem Facebook's just serving up,products that aren't really resonating,with the um customer and just switch it,create a set in your um Commerce manager,just to Best Sellers and that should fix,it next thing you want to do is optimize,for the conversion events not value I,don't typically do value it might work I,don't know um and then put the budget,somewhere low and depending on how much,data you have if you're a huge clothing,brand you can probably whack it up a lot,but if you're a smaller clothing brand,and you're only going to have a small,audience so you don't want to buy and,throw it too quickly then you want to,hit retarget ads um to people who,interact with your products o

hosted the second,dsa webinar creative best practices for,tick tock dynamic showcase ads,today we will tie everything together by,showing you an example how to structure,your tick tock ad account overall and we,will show you how to get the most out of,your dsa campaigns,specifically,over to the agenda,firstly i will show an example of how,you can structure your tick tock ad,account,secondly i will do a short recap of what,dynamic showcase ads are,thirdly i will touch upon the,performance levers for dynamic showcase,ads,fourthly i will give you a recap of the,creative lever,fifth i will recommended for advanced facebook,advertisers and although creative best,practices are very different from,facebook to tick tock the foundational,campaign settings are very similar so,bringing foundational best practices,from your facebook campaign structure to,tick tock is a great place to start,and keep in mind that the ad account,structure you can see here is just an,example and it's very much geared,towards driving sales for e-commerce,businesses with a wide range of,different use,you will have to test and make,adjustments based on the unique,characteristics of your business,my goal here is to inspire you to go and,test that what works best for you,so in this structure the campaigns are,broadly categorized into prospecting,which you can see on this slide and then,retargeting and loyalty which i will,show on the next two slides also note,that this structures does not only,include dynamic showcase ads it includes,conversion campaigns as well,and as i said it is heavily geared,towards driving sales for e-commerce,businesses,so firstly you should have a prospecting,campaign for conversions or for app,install if you have a shopping app,in this campaign you should start out by,trying three different ad sets one with,interest based targeting a second with,narrow look-alike targeting and the,third with broad lookalike targeting and,we recommend running automatic creative,optimization ads for aco for short in,these ad groups,with aco you upload up to 10 videos 5,texts,and 3 ctas and let the tick tock find,the best performing combinations,in our upcoming webinar we will discuss,aco in more detail,the second campaign is where the dynamic,showcase ads come in,the catalog sales objective is the,objective which lets you run dsa ads,the number of ad sets really depends on,the variety of products in your catalog,and variety of target customers,three different ad sets with product set,one two and three plus interest,targeting is just an example,and remember to have bespoke template,versions for each product set,i will go into more detail around,product sets and targeting for dsa,campaigns later in this webinar,so with this kind of prospecting,structure you will be able to reach a,large amount of prospective shoppers,effectively and efficiently,over to the retargeting campaigns same,as for prospecting you should have one,campaign for the commercial objective,and one campaign for catalog sales,in the conversion campaign try one ad,group with a custom audience surpass 30,day website visitors and one with a 30,day checkout initiated custom audience,and same as with a prospecting,conversion campaign run automatic,creative optimization ads but keep in,mind that these are retargeting,audiences so adapt your creative and,message messaging accordingly,campaign 4 is your retargeting dsa,campaign where you can try one ad group,for view or added to cart in the last 0,to 14 days and one ad group for view or,added to cart in the last 15 to 30 days,and use a different dsa template than,the one you use for your prospecting dsa,so that the ad experience is different,from what prospecting audiences will see,and finally do not forget your past,purchasers,targeting past purchasers can,potentially be a great way to increase,the lifetime value of customers and,increase the overall return of ad spend,in your ad account,when targeting past purchasers it makes,sense to create product sets that might,be of particular interest like a product,set for newly released items or items on,sale,now i want to working with both these,platforms for,many years now so for snapchat i used to,work in an agency,where i led the facebook and snapchat,media buying teams,so i've been working with snapchat for,over two years,for e-commerce ad clients and at the,social savannah where i consult,e-commerce businesses,for the last year and a few months now,it's been,um a lot of my clients have tested and,seen snapchat work really well,and then for tick-tock it's definitely a,newer platform,but i've started with tick tock ads to,my clients back last april,and i've seen some great results for my,clients on tick tock as well,for clients including kitsch our place,thrive market blend jet,sugar bear hair so lots of experience,with both platforms,and a common question i get is if i was,to start brand new,whether on snap or tick tock which one,should i test first,and which one is getting the lowest cpas,so i'm going to go through the pros and,cons of both platforms and ultimately,what my suggestion is for e-commerce,brands,that are looking to expand away from,facebook and google and are wondering,what's the best next platform to test,so the first platform i'm going to talk,about is snapchat so if you guys are no,stranger to my youtube,channel i have plenty of tutorials and,videos about how to set up your snapchat,ad campaigns,so make sure to check those out but i'm,going to go first and say that one of,the best things about snapchat,is the low barrier to entry to start,advertising on that platform,the ads manager is extremely simple to,navigate,and it's really hard to screw up and for,lack of a better word,in terms of if you choose broad,targeting you upload your creatives,and you can easily sync the pixel with,the snapchat shopify app,it's really easy to set up your first,campaign and get launched right away,there's a lot of basic best practices,with snapchat in terms of using,ugc or user generated ad creatives using,target cost bidding,as well as leveraging broad audiences,but ultimately,snapchat is a very simple to use,platform with very,low barriers to entry to get started or,as composed of tick tock can be a bit,more complex,especially if you are trying to get an,agency managed account so if you were to,be one of my clients,the way that we set up with tick tock is,that we have to go through,a tick tock representative so that they,set up the ad also run dpa or dynamic product,ads,as well as collection ads on snapchat so,these are all,placements that i know tick tock is,either developing or is currently,testing,but as of now snapchat has more,placements,which means more opportunities to show,your ads to the people who care about,your business,another great thing about snapchat is,that it's really easy to get started in,terms of just taking your existing,facebook ad creatives especially your,ugc ad creatives,that you've tested on instagram stories,and pop them over to snapchat,i've seen that even though ugc of course,is going to be the best,creative content for snap and it is,ideal to make content specific for,snapchat that is very ugc focused,i still had a lot of success with my,clients where we take their instagram,stories,and test them on snapchat and again,that's just gonna make the setup on,snapchat so much easier,if you can already leverage your 9x16,facebook ad creatives right on snapchat,alternatively on tick tock,i would highly recommend against running,your instagram,story or facebook creatives on tick tock,because they will not work,when i first started with a few tick,tock clients i tried the same strategy,of i would take what was working on,facebook,instagram stories and snapchat and try,to test it on tick tock and it was a,complete,flop it is so important to make specific,creatives for tick tock,leveraging tick tick-tock influencer,styles transitions,trending text it's so important with,tick-tock ads that you make it look like,an organic tick-tock,and stay current with the trends if,someone senses that it's an ad and,you're just putting your instagram story,ad
