is,you have to be on top of your creatives,creatives is the name of the game for,tick tock and I'm going to show you how,to actually come up with the creatives,that you know are constantly coming in,and you get results over and over again,but the main thing is to understand that,if your creatives are not good no matter,what kind of media buying strategy you,have on Tick Tock specifically it's,never going to work so to summarize in,terms of the main thing about Tick Tock,is that you want to avoid stock footage,generally doesn't work well images you,won't even be able to run ads on those,what really works is content that looks,native so now that we've covered kind of,the difference the major difference,between Tick Tock ads and other,platforms let's go into how you can come,up with infinite ideas for the ads,themselves so what I typically like to,do is with our agency we usually have,about two to three testing days per,client what that means is that let's say,on Monday and Friday of every single,week we will have testing days for ads,to go out and we'll usually have like at,least five to ten different creatives,uploaded on those particular dates what,that will allow us to do is constantly,have testing going on and we'll be able,to find new winners as we go throughout,the week if you have this process you'll,never have any any shortage of the,winning ad creatives another thing about,Tick Tock that is super different than,other platforms is that the creatives,themselves exhaust significantly faster,in something like on Facebook or,Instagram and the reason for that is,Tick Tock hates showing the same ad over,and over again and what you're really,trying to do is keep that freshness,there's positives and negatives to that,one positive of this is that you can,typically allocate significantly larger,budgets right off the get-go and Tick,Tock algorithm will still perform,whereas in Facebook if you go from 20 to,500 right off the bat you're actually,going to have a really hard time doing,that scaling on the other side of things,if your ad is more than a week or two,weeks you'll typically see like a sharp,downturn of the ads themselves and the,CTR will go down the video views will go,down and The Tick Tock ad platform will,actually suppress your videos so I say,all this so you guys can understand how,important it is to have a steady stream,of creatives coming in and all the ideas,and copywriting flushed out and ready to,be put into the ads manager next I'm,going to break down how I come up with,ideas and write copy for these different you have to,understand that when you launch ads on,Tick Tock the things that you used on,Facebook if let's say that you run ads,on Facebook and now you transferred also,on a tick tock might not work because,the platform is a little bit different,so starting with the first reason and,this is not optimizing for the right,event and here I could talk about two,things one if you are optimizing for,traffic you won't get the right results,if you are an e-commerce business owner,and you want to drive sales this is your,main objective you want to get as many,conversions as possible retronagement that,you're striving from that being said the,solution to this is to use an upper,level event such as actual card the,moment when you optimize for things like,Azure card now the algorithms could,understand the better who is your ideal,client because they could get much more,data because getting someone to add,something to your card will be easier,when like making someone to purchase of,a volume of how many people are adding,SuperCard will be higher and for the,algorithms volume matters a lot you,could transition to complete payment but,you could do that once you hit let's say,at least this is the burn minimum 500,actual card registered by The Tick Tock,pixel the moment when you see that now,you could transition to complete payment,and see how that will affect your,results if you still see that the,results not available,and test again the complete payment and,see how that goes now talk about the,second reason why your ads are not,performing is because you that you,want you see for The Tick Tock,algorithms to optimize the best and to,Target about Right audience it's very,very crucial for them to get enough,volume I've kind of like mentioned a,little bit about that so 50 conversions,were 50 results pretty much what you're,optimizing for 582 card 50 inch,checkouts is super super crucial if you,do not get that within seven days it,will be a huge struggle for the,algorithms and you'll stop,algorithms to find the Right audience so,when you set your budget you want to,make your calculations and see how many,actual cards you need to get on a daily,basis and how much money you have to,spend to get those at your card if let's,say that you need to get eight at your,card let's say your cost to get one,extra card is ten dollars pretty much,that means you need to spend at least,eighty dollars per day to get that,number and ultimately to get 50 at your,card so you know running ads is simply,math you just need to make based,play,so a style of video like this isn't,something you would want to actually use,for ads on Tick Tock and believe it or,not even big Brands out there still have,not figured it out they literally are,you know engulfed with corporate uh,individuals that just don't understand,Tick Tock but they know they need to be,on there but they're putting up the,wrong type of content so even the big,Brands don't necessarily understand how,Tick Tock ads work and more than,anything this looks more like a,commercial than it does an actual Tick,Tock video and if we know one thing Tick,Tock doesn't like ads they like tick,tocks so let's look at the next Dollar,Video you don't want to do so for this,one you don't want the black you know,boxes at the top or any space where,there's just nothing going on next video,style that you want to avoid is Tick,Tock Style videos that look like,Facebook ads this might be a fine,Facebook ad where it's a cell where it's,showing the different products but this,isn't going to work on Tick Tock,literally these videos here you know,there's white text it looks like it's an,ad it was created somewhere else other,than Tick Tock they're showing their,logo first which is automatically going,to you know result in a swipe through,they're optimizing for traffic so they,clearly don't know what they're doing,and you can really tell that this ad was,probably just pulled from another one of,their you know swipe files that they use,on Facebook or Instagram and what works,on Facebook and Instagram doesn't,necessarily work on Tick Tock so third thing is over produced things,that look like very much commercials,inside of here you can see this has like,all this fancy text all these things,these confetti falling down it doesn't,look native to the platform again and,it's just not going to yield the same,results and the fourth one which is,probably very obvious is Tick Tock is a,video platform if you just take images,of your products and trying to scroll,them through you're not going to see,great results so those are four common,things to avoid when it comes to tick,tock ads and we're gonna be going over a,couple more throughout the video as well,but now let's actually talk about how to,create Tick Tock ads that work so real,quick this may sound really simple but,one thing I want you to always remember,when it comes to tick tock ads is,there's three parts to a tick tock ad,one you have the hook which is arguably,the most important part of the ad,because if people don't continue to,watch your video then none of Nothing,Else Matters third is you have the,information or the meat of the product,now when you are creating the,information about the product I want you,to keep in mind that your information,should fall into three buckets your,information about your product or,service should either be in the form of,entertainment education or inspiration,so when you're creating your Tick Tock,ads you need to what is going on guys today i'm going to,be teaching y'all how to,properly set up a tick tock ad,conversion campaign,i'm going to be setting it this up for a,client so i thought i'd bring you along,for the ride,so let's get right into it as you can,see here we are,in the tick tock ad manager at the,dashboard level what we're gonna do,is actually click up here on campaign,and now that we're here all we have to,do is click on create,so for those of y'all that don't,understand how this is structured it's,basically a three-tier system you have,the campaign level,the ad group level and the ad itself,which would be the creative level,uh right now at the campaign level we,have five different advertising,objectives we have reach,traffic app installs video views and,conversions,for this specific campaign i'm gonna be,optimizing for conversions,one thing that i do suggest is keeping,your naming,as cleanly as possible um,this is going to help you understand,what campaign,which campaign is which and which ad,group is which and i'll give you some,suggestions on best practices,on how to actually label those here in a,second i'm not going to be split testing,at this level right here,the reason being is because i'm going to,be using automated creative optimization,for this which essentially,builds out an endless amount of ads for,me instead of me having to do it,manually,and it's my understanding if i do a,manual split test here,i can only use one ad in each split in,each ad group,so that's not something that i want i'm,just going to be doing that manually,down the line and i'll show you how i do,that and budget,we're going to be setting that at the ad,group level,click continue,awesome so as you can tell we have a,really shabby,ad group name i'm gonna leave that for,the time
