worldwide  ,with 90 of users using the app multiple times per  day so we can get ourselves in front of our ideal  ,customer multiple times a day on average now as  of january 2021 tick tock raked in 128 million in  ,user spending marking an increase of 380 from its  january 2020 revenue so it's growing year on year  ,almost 4x in user revenue now take top ranks  as the second biggest app in consumer spend  ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this  is probably the uh the biggest stat on this  ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in  consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the facebook  ,ad manager now a ad campaign is the foundation  of your ad so we're setting up our advertising  ,objectives and formats we then have ad group which  is target audiences ad placements budget and the  ,bidding then we have the ad creative which is  the text and the video that will appear on our  ,apps what we're physically seeing then finally our  landing page and this is the destination url that  ,we are driving our potential customers too this  is the place where they will actually buy our  ,products or service so when you actually have your  tick tock ad account up and running this is kind  ,of what the format will look like we have our ad  manager at the top we have campaigns beneath that  ,then inside an ad campaign we would have multiple  ad groups so we'll be testing out entertaining  ,nature of tick tock ads so it might be perfect  for your brand this video is perfect for beginners  ,we're not going to skip any steps but i'm also  going to go into some advanced things around  ,content because that is so important to make sure  that you make tick tock ads work the first step  ,you're going to want to do is set up your shopify  store if you haven't set up your sure that we set up  ,tiktok properly so the pixel is firing once you're  in shopify the best way to go is go into apps and  ,just write in tiktok simply download the official  tiktok app and click add sales channel this is the  ,exact same as facebook nowadays this will bring  up this little tick tock section down on the left  ,hand store of your shopify store if you don't have  shopify still carry on watching we're going to get  ,into the nitty gritty in a second once this is set  up we can click this section here setting up the  ,pixel the next step you can see that it's saying  connect tick tock for business this is where you  ,need a new tick tock account already have a tick  tock business account you can just click connect  ,but today we're gonna have to create a brand new  one so i'm just gonna click create new at the top  ,enter my email address get the verification code  sent into the verification code here agree to  ,terms and conditions and just click sign up you  can click connect down the bottom right and that's  ,now created an ads manager business manager under  that email we can click create new ad account and  ,we can select the country and the currency that we  want to be built in this is generally the region  ,that you want to be targeting change the business  name to something a little bit simpler click sign  ,up and connect you'll come to this data sharing  section which we've touched on a few times in my  ,previous episodes just click enhanced or maximum  providing you've got the terms and conditions set  ,up for something and then click confirm maximum  is obviously preferred this is how shopify shares  ,data with ticktock this is referred to as capi  which is a partnership between shopify and the  ,advertising platform click set up enter your final  details make sure you connect automatic payment  ,click confirm and you should be ready to go now  to create tick-tock ads we're actually going to  ,have to go back to the tick-tock view because we're  on a page when you add a product to cart it should  ,fire the add to cart pixel or if someone purchases  you can test a purchase and it will also fire that  ,pixel in the exact right way so now we're in  the tiktok ads account we can go ahead and  ,create our first campaign campaign structures  are really important to talk about it's what  ,separates good advertisers from what's up guys welcome to another tick,tock ad tip now one of the biggest,frustrations i've had for quite a long,time with tick tock ads and i've been on,the platform for about two and a half,years now has been the ability to link,tick tock profiles with tick tock ad,accounts this has been something that,really you haven't been able to do for a,very very long time if you're new to,tick tock just to reach up to speed,basically you have custom identity ads,which kind of the default ad on tick,tock and essentially with custom,identity ads you are setting the brand,identity at the ad level you actually,aren't linking the ad to anything like a,facebook page right facebook ads you,gotta link every ad to a facebook page,to run it with tick tock you can,basically just type in what's the page,title and put a logo in icon in and,that's your,page right what you've been able to do,in the past has been spark ads where you,can create a tick tock post or an,influence or create a tic tac post and,it gives you a code i've shot a video go,back into my video library and look at,how to run spark ads,that walks through that process and,spark ads are actually live tick tocks,that you can then link to the ads on,your ad account and run them,but it's been very time consuming it's,not easy to scale that because it's very,manual it's very labor intensive very,time consuming right and kind of,technical you know how to do it if,you're a newbie you really you know you,can't just pick it up right it takes a,little process there um,and then what what tick tock has done is,the ability on individual accounts in,your settings in your business center to,link your tick tock pro box when you log,in with tick doc that's the profile,but that was if you're just a solo,person running your brand your ad,account and you're just doing everything,yourself but if you're an agency or have,an agency you have multiple media buyers,multiple brands it's not really scalable,so finally tick tock has now released,the ability to link multiple tick-tock,profiles to a business center and then,assign members of that business center,to that profile which then allows them,in every ad account they run in that,business center to use that profile and,grab all the eligible posts to run those,as ads so this is really really really,exciting i know you guys might be,watching it's like not that big of a,deal trust me i've been doing this for a,while this is going to save so much time,to make things so much easier if you're,doing any volume and tick talk,this has been very very frustrating to,you so in this video i want to walk you,through the process of how to link a,tick tock profile,in the app with a business center on the,ad side and then how to use that inside,an ad to basically amplify an some,permissions,i'm going to collect both of these the,only difference really with this one on,the bottom is you can actually use,live videos as well in the amplification,process and get access to those then i'm,going to click generate qr code now what,i'm going to do here,i'm going to click,iphone pull that in we're going to open,up we're going to go to this is kind of,a dummy kind of research account that we,use double sub marketer i'm going to use,this account for this process because,i've already linked my personal profile,i don't want to link anybody else at the,moment so it's kind of a dummy i'm going,to click discover in the bottom left,okay and then from there i'm going to,click in the top right there is a little,icon with a little scanner,and you can't see it,on here which is weird,but in the very very top right here,there is a little scan icon you're going,to click that scan icon and then what,you can do is come over to the qr code,and you are going to scan it it's going,to zoom in real quick you're going to,zoom back,and then you're going to get this pop-up,and you're going to click authorize,and,it's going to load and it's going to say,boom account authority high cpms and high cost per,clicks tick-tock seems to be the,all-around solution and in this video,i'm going to show you exactly how i,start and run my tick tock ad campaigns,to get sales like you hear in the,background so over the past few months,i've generated quite a lot with tic toc,in terms of revenue and in profit and,this is just one of the stores i'm,currently running and you guys can see,the active visitors we have 1.1 k as,well as 30 000,in sales just for today and here's also,one of the other stores we did around,60k in november and going on into,december we pulled out around 130 000,and this was all about around a 30,margin overall so if you ask me that's,not bad at all this right here is the,store that i pulled off 30 000 just for,today's sales in and you guys can see,the tick tock ads manager we have quite,a lot of campaigns because this product,definitely is in the scaling phase but,putting all this aside let's get right,into the tutorial the first thing you're,required to do is create an actual,account you guys can use the link below,and for the business name we're just,going to pretty much put our business,name i'm just going to put subscribe now,because that's what i recommend you,highly do right now if you're not,already for the industry we're going to,go ahead and put e-commerce and scroll,down all the way to other right here now,for the time zone i'm gonna put los,angeles now this one will defer you want,to put your time zone of course then go,ahead and check this box right here and,click register now after this you should,be taken to a page that looks something,like this so right here you're just,going to fill out your business website,put in your address and all that,information that's going to ask you for,a credit card and all that but once,you're filling all that out you should,land on a page like this so this is an,existing ad account i have obviously,we're going to want to go ahead and,select conversions right here and then,for the campaign name you're going to,put whatever the product name is but i'm,just going to put one for the sake of,this video and then you don't want to,touch any of these these are for,different strategies and actually do use,these options but we're not going to do,that in this case specifically so we're,gonna hit continue right here and once,we are on this page the ad group name is,basically the interest name so whatever,you target let's say you target dog,owners or cat lovers you're gonna put,cat lovers or dog owners or whatever,interest you target but for tick tock,specifically i like to go broad so i'm,going to leave this as broad and then,i'll show you guys how to target,interests later down the line so for the,website we're going to want to create a,tick tock pixel i already have two,pixels right here but if you created a,new ad account you won't have a pixel so,we're going to want to create one and in,order to do that you just want to click,that button click set up web events or,create pixel tick tock pixel click next,and you want to name your pixel i'm,going to put three and then click this,second option right here click shopify,click next and you should be taken to a,different page where you're just going,to spam next a bunch of times so,complete setup and we should be good to,go now in order to install this you can,actually get an app called tick tock on,the shopify app store and then just,pretty much log in with your tick tock,account details now personally on some,of my stores i don't even install pixels,and i just go based off of different,metrics like the ctr cpm cost per click,but if you want to install a pixel you,guys can pretty much do it through,shopify or by installing it with code so,now once our pixel is set up you guys,can go back to the tick tock page right,here open this up and we have our third,pixel that we just created right here,for the optimization of that we want to,click complete payment we don't want any,other people who just go to our site to,add to cart or view the content we want,actual purchasers hence why we choose,this option right here now we want to,scroll down right here and click select,payments and uncheck these two random,ones i mean we don't need panel or news,feed app series we want tick tock that's,where the money is at at the end of the,day for user comments we're going example,so the next example with this one it's,also straight,pretty straightforward they have,literally just,shown their apparel products overlaid,with a popular song and they've added a,direct,call to action button as part of the ad,which i'll show you how to do,later in this tutorial they have a,buttload of likes,at 200k plus for this specific ad alone,which means they most likely,ran an engagement campaign on tick-tock,but the point here is you don't always,need to have a really fancy you know,dancing tick-tock video to succeed so,this is an example of an ad that works,and it's just a very,simple uh you know apparel video the,next one is,from nike this one's pretty interesting,have you watched this,you know ad loan by itself you're,probably going to wonder,how the heck is this I recently found myself repeating the,same thing over and over to current,clients as we are expending over to tick,tock as a major ad platform within our,client pool so I'm always repeating the,clients why it's important to have a,full warm-up phase dedicated to warming,up the tick tock pixel because look,reality is most of people going on Tick,Tock right now are not using Tick Tock,as a first platform they've been in the,industry for quite a while and they've,advertised on Facebook and they kind of,Forgotten what time what it was to get,started with Facebook back then so in,today's short and sweet video I want to,talk about why the tick tock pixel,warm-up phase is very important and how,do you want to structure this phase,before you really start running your,Tick Tock ads my the,structure we've been following in order,to warm up our clients pixels correctly,so this whole warm-up phase would take,depending on your budget anywhere from,two to four weeks to really get your,pixel warm enough for you to start,running purchases conversions campaign,so for the first week again let's keep,in mind tick docks CBO minimum daily,budget is 50 so you'll want to start,running ads for traffic or video views,and in do so for about seven days just,the first to tell the algorithm hey,those are the type of people that are,most interested in our video type,doesn't mean they're taking action just,means they're showing some signs of,Interest by either liking commenting or,interacting with your videos once this,is done then you switch to the second,phase of your warm-up phase so for the,following seven days which you actually,start for the first time with a,conversion campaign so you'll usually go,with a bit more of a top of funnel event,so that could be add to cart as an,example and your only goal at this stage,is to get 50 conversions within seven,days so for you to get 50 at the carts,within seven days again depending on,your products aov means that you need to,spend a certain level on the platform,for most people the daily minimum budget,of fifty dollars is gonna be enough to,achieve these 50 conversions assuming,you have a good conversion rate on the,website so once you're done and once you,actually have these 50 attributed,conversions then it's a bit of a,conflicting advice online and it'll,depend on the clients honestly that,we're doing this with but either you can,directly switch to a purchase event,right there and already essentially,starts running some conversions,campaigns for purchases or you could go,one step further and actually start,optimizing for initiate checkout for,another seven days so you extend your,warm-up phase by another week and then,once you get 50 initiated checkouts,within that week then you get to 50,purchases I'm actually going to,recommend for the most of you to,actually do this phase where you're,going with traffic or video view,campaigns for seven days then week two,you're going without the cards week,three you're doing initiate checkout in,week four you're actually starting with,your purchases campaigns and again the,sole reason is think of this like a,waterfall or taking somebody and
